My mistake. I guess I remembered it wrong. But it still is sad that we cant think of a marquee play that involved the ball.

I seem to recall LaVar causing a key fumble in 2001 against Kurt Warner and the Rams that Darryl Gardner picked up to secure the win? Is that right?

That is correct.

LaVar also recovered a fumble in the endzone to beat the Cowboys in Darrell Green's final game as a Redskin.

I stand corrected again. He was well worth the 2nd overall pick, the tens of millions of dollars, and the very public whining. Glad he finally found a way to contain Chris Weinke.
