Right now I'm getting nervous though. For some reason I think the Redskins are going to pick Adrian Peterson. I just hope this is paranoia and the Skins end up with Okoye.

They've made some questionable decisions in the past, but I don't think they've made any flat out horrible, dumb, retarded moves which drafting JR would be. |

Re: Latest from JLC: The lying game
I guess I find it hard for anyone that follows the Skins to see it otherwise. 2 playoff appearances in 15 years, losing record after losing record, dumb move after dumb more, a team that is closer to the Lions & Cards than the Pats. I need the Redskins to actually do something good on the field for more than just a season before I start saying everything is hunky dorey.

Re: Latest from JLC: The lying game
The glass half-empty folks will never understand the glass half-full folks and vice versa. That's just the reality of it.
Personally I choose to take an optimistic view on things since I consider football and the Redskins to be a fun escape from reality. I don't see the point in being pessimistic, if I ever get to that point I'd probably rather just move on to a different hobby. |

Re: Latest from JLC: The lying game
I am always cautiously optimistic. After the draft, regardless of who we take, I'm going to be back on the Super Bowl bandwagon, even though my head knows better.

I'm an Impatient Optimist.
![]() I've been cheering my guts out for so long and we have been starved of winning for so long (save for '05), that I've grown impatient. But always optimistic.
