Joey Harrington will force teams to respect the passing game more than Vick could. This could be good for the Falcons. If they can keep a decent running game going, Harrington will be ok for them. I think they will do better than they would have with Vick honestly. It is probably a blessing in disguise that Vick won't be there this year.

Rich Gannon got good way to late in his career to really make a big splash, with the exception of his Super Bowl year. Didn't he break his neck or something?

I don't recall him breaking his neck.

Yes, but not a serious enough injury to paralyze him, just enough to keep him out of football in danger it could get worsen. Has nothing to do with his early career, just why he retired.

About the got good late in his career thing...that's the point. Harrington still could have something left to show us.
