what exactly was the purpose of calling the time out with 1:02 left, and then punting with no timeouts? they should have went for it. our defense is playing pretty decent. and there wasn't much time left

Yep, but it has been a trademark of the Snyder era. Get over the hill once Pro Bowl studs, give them a ton of money or give up draft picks and watch your fans cry. Deion sucked for us. Only made 2 picks I think his entire time here and was a sieve in coverage. Andre Reed only had one TD grab for us. Bruce Smith wasn't too bad, or Irving Fryar, but still their utility was fora short time. Build with the draft and young free agents. Taylor was a very risky move, too risky to give up what we did for him. Those draft picks could have given us a new Oline, Dline and a new WR to help us out potentially. Sure a lot of picks would be cut prior to week 1, but by cutting our picks in half we cut our chances of finding young quality guys to build a real contender around. This team just plain is awful!!!

Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread

This offense needs some new blood on the OL and WR. Draft picks and vet FA players of good talent.

I think Zorn will drop the OC duties next season.

JC has moments of outstanding talent, but also locks on players, holds the ball too long and still has problems with the 25+ passes.

I remember when the trade went down and everyone was for it. I wasn't but a lot of people on here were happy as hell to get Taylor. Parcells cot over on us big time. But the problem with this team is the offense.

3. Campbell continues to regress in my opinion.

4. Where are the roll outs?

5. Where is the adjustment to the blitz. Only adjustment I saw was the pass to Moss on the strong side of the blitz that resulted in big pickup.
agree
and why doesnt jc run the ball when no ones open he seems scared you know he can run

If so whats the stations call signs. I have been paying for directvs football package and would like to drop it next year.
WVBT which is a FOX affiliate usually carries the games. Tonight's game is on WAVY tv 10. I live in Chesapeake close to the NC border.

I disagree. I think his decision making has regressed over the last 3 weeks. He isn't reading defense well at all.

The real problem was starting the pre-season with a 35 yr DE, Phillip Daniels, who was averaging a couple sacks a season and was injury prone. He gets hurt early and then the FO is desperate and takes Jason Taylor.
