The Beagles are inconsistent as McKnabb has been. Unfortunately he's playing well now.

Earlier this season, I watched the Redskins beat the Eagles in their stadium wearing a Redskins jersey and carrying two Redskins signs. Seeing us win was great.

I'm always more interested in us playing great football and crush the Eagles than hoping they'll sink faster as we spin lower in the toilet bowl.

The Eagles draft linemen every season whether they need them or not. We need to do that also.

It would have been much more satisfying for the Skins to ruin the Cowboys season two weeks ago, but when do we ever slam the door on a rival's season when they're down? We let the Eagles back in the playoff hunt last season when we couldn't take care of business at home, and we could have buried the Giants to 0-3 last year and blew a 17-3 halftime lead AT HOME. I'm more concerned about the Skins taking care of their own business than taking any pleasure in Philly's demise.
So much for Philly's demise. When all hell appeared to break loose after their debacle in Baltimore, Andy Reid was a steady hand, and they've had back to back impressive wins against teams that clinched division championships with 3 games left (Arizona & @NY). Gibbs was also a steady hand in turbulent times - it remains to be seen whether Zorn has that talent as a head coach. The Skins got help with Dallas and Atlanta losing, yet did nothing to take care of their own business.

Yeah this thread single handedly revived the Eagles I'm sure.

At the time the thread was created they were looking bad, I'm still not sure they're a playoff caliber team anyway.

The problem was at the time we were hitting our slump.

Yeah. I know. Bad sports karma. I should never have started it. My bad.

But dammit! Just once, ONCE, I want to enjoy the implosion of a hated rival while reveling in our success.

So shoot me, damn me or just plain hate me - I don't care. I am an unrepentant Eagles hater and will enjoy their travails regardless of karma.

With that said, I foresee being absolutely miserable in a couple of weeks.

There were a better team then the Giants yesterday.I do beleive that had the Giants be able to catch a pass ....and it was'nt Eli's fault that we could have made a game out of it.Maybe they can win next week.

I've been preaching that forever. They are always good in the trenches, and they develop that talent from within, through the draft. That's why they are always competitive. McNabb has only had one really good receiver his entire tenure in Philly (and it was only for a year and a half), yet the Eagles are always solid. I wonder why?

Y'all better win or else, As JoeRedskin said, I will be miserable for the next few weeks. Not saying anything else, but for this weekend I will definitely be cheering for the Giants.
