lol name one more......barry sanders is a hall of fame back for a reason....you are completely ignoring my point......you dont have a barry sanders type back on your team and there will likely never be another one like him

there is always an exception to the rule but the rule is a rule for a reason.....portis is still a top 5 back despite being injured and playing behind a terrible line, and terrible team

You said previously, "the offensive line is always the reason for a good running game......ALWAYS....."

I pointed out that you were wrong, giving the example of Barry Sanders. There are many more examples: OJ Simpson did not always have the Electric Company, Eric Dickerson ran behind some shaky lines, for a few years Emmitt Smith did not have the best line but still put up yards...I can keep going as there are many more examples.

The problem is not that I ignored you point. The problem is that your point was WRONG but, yet again, you are not man enough to admit it.

Same thing with your point about Portis. You keep citing 2008 although now it is 2009. Once again, your argument is flawed, yet you are not man enough to admit it.

because they had good offensive lines......players like barry sanders dont come around all the time.....all of the other players you mentioned played on good teams with good offensive lines regardless of whatever garbage you think you pointed out.....

is LT a hall of famer without his offensive line and fullback? is emmit smith the all time leading rusher without he cowboys offensive line? NO.....they are not

for some reason you think you are right about this but you arent....its so blatantly obvious that you know nothin about the offensive line and its making the rest of the redskins fans look bad

i keep citing last season because people continue to claim that he has been struggling for more than just this season.....read the thread dude

the fact is that portis is struggling because he is hurt and because the team is bad......not because he is bad

im telling you that you are blinded by the fact that your team is losing

but your too blind to see that as well

open your eyes..portis is not the problem......so what if he doesnt practice.....thats not a bad thing, especially if he can still produce on sunday.....its a bad thing if he doesnt practice and stinks on sundays.....but he doesnt

why would you want your best running back and one of the highest paid players on the team to get hurt doing something as silly as running drills in practice when the only thing that matters is sundays?

1) you completely failed to appreciate the fact that the offensive lines for those players CHANGED - some years they had good lines, some years they did not. Some years Emmitt Smith ran behind mediocre offensive lines and he still got the job done.

What this means is that your original claim that the running game ALWAYS hinges ONLY on the offensive line was simplistic and mistaken. As usual, you see reality in terms of black-and-white (sometimes literally), when in fact reality consists of shades of gray.

2) what you fail to appreciate about Portis is that he has not brought it on Sundays this year. Saying that only Sundays matter just highlights Portis' deficiencies this year.

As always, you are too small of a person to admit when you are wrong.

lmao......emmitt played for the cowboys from 1990 to 2002.....every single one of those teams was a competitor....they won the division 6 of his 13 seasons there....they were a playoff team 8 of those years and they won the super bowl 3 times in that span

the cowboys were good because of their offensive line and they were consistant because of their offensive line......sure it changed......but not significantly enough to downgrade the run game....it was continuity that created the cowboys dynasty......

people like you probably think it was emmitt smith and troy aikman that made those cowboys teams great.....lol.....get real......they were both very average players on a well built team with a stellar offensive line......go look at their stats.....not one season stands out as exceptional but they did it over a long period of time because they had the offensive line in front of them to give them time and make big holes

lol.....cant handle the truth? life is simple brother....either you get it or you dont.....whether you are black or white or shades of gray

1) There you go with the unclear thinking again. The fact is that the Cowboys struggled on the offensive line in the late '90's. This is one reason why they weren't winning Super Bowls in that period. Yet Emmitt got it done. Once again you have lambasted me for not "getting" your point, with no self awareness on your part that you are dead wrong. Of course, as we all know here, you have proven to be incapable of admitting that you are wrong.

2) Actually you already have taken personal shots at me. Too late to try to disingenuously take the high road.

3) There you go again, making more racist comments as if we existed in the 19th century.

I often teach my students that racism is dumb. Your arguments are exhibit A now.

do you teach your students to count too? cuz you clearly have no idea what portis actually means to your team

you might want to try another argument rather than just saying im wrong because you arent proving anything by saying that.....

and no matter what you say about how racist i am, it doesnt change the truth.....blacks are faster.....even tho this is a completely different thread....why dont you try to prove to me why you think they arent faster

oh wait.....im an ignorant racist so all my aruments are wrong....im too small to admit im wrong so you must be right? lol.....your passive aggressive take at trying to prove me wrong is completely off base on so many levels.....why dont you prove to me that you're the bigger man.....and walk away
