Worse thing is probably that Gibbs left him. Either way though, I agree that perhaps the expectations of him were unreasonably high considering what we gave up to get him.

Look at Brunell in 2004, benched after 9 games. In 2005 Brunell came back and had a Monster Year. In 2006, after winning only 3 games, Brunell was benched. Even more, Gibbs said he thought about benching Campbell in 2007 even before his knee injury....
