Re: Redskins Off-season moves up to the draft
CRedskins, nice thread. Honestly we've made so many moves since Shanahan and Allen took over, it's hard to keep track of it all. We have lots of threads on this site for good discussion, but sometimes these reference/informational threads are the most helpful and the ones people come back to most often.
The other day I was reading how Shanahan thought Mike Williams might have a good opportunity at RG, and then I was all 'well what about Randy Thomas', and then my brain was all 'we cut him, dummy, don't you remember?' And I was all 'oh yeah. Shut up brain or I'll stab you with a q tip.' So thanks.

We have actually made a "ton" of moves, a lot for depth or remolding the team to fit Shanny's image. It is definitely a far different off-season approach then any other under Dan Snyder (although I don't remember Marty's first off-season from this aspect). I can't say that one move reeks of championship (except McNabb), but neither do they come off as a desperate attempt to make the status quo work. |

Ditto, great post that really puts things in perspective when adds/cuts can be viewed together in one list.
