We honestly might have a better record if we played 14 away games a year. I'm not even joking.

Just like when we let Delhomme ice the game on us with a run.

Basically we suck at home, fedex is not a good home stadium.. No one fears going to Wsh. We played hard today and our D allowed LEss than 20 again but it's about scoring and we can't do that

Should have won this game. Players not executing. To many dropped passes...again.
Our defense was consistent in one way, we kept giving up over 5 yards a carry again.

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread

We come out on offense throwing the ball downfield, and running wildcat.

We dont see that the rest of the game. Either the D made great adjustments after that 1st drive or we just failed in the playcalling

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread

Funny. I would have bet money against the skins today, if I were a betting man.

Playing a shitty team at home, coming off a win, in late November--we just don't win these games, haven't for years. It's something that seems to follow the franchise no matter who is coaching. Pathetic.

At least the idea of playoffs is off the table. We are what we are. 6-10/7-9, if things end ok. That's a 2 or 3+ change, which is something. We just do not have the players. The talent level on that o-line is way too low, and we have holes on D. And we obviously need better WRs, or better wr play. When we had just 7 at half, with McNabb actually being pretty accurate, you knew we were in for trouble. He just can't seem to keep it going for a full game.

Ah, well. It wasn't like we were superbowl bound this year. Gotta remember that. BUt I hate losing another game where if we just execute the ****ing plays, we win. Oy.

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread

dink and dunk all day; great job by allen passing on all of the avail free agent WR in the offseason and during the season. Oh and holding on to aging talent that no longer has it, ie. Rabach and Galloway

...and how much of the disappearance of the Wildcat and our running game due to the "Let me carry the team on my shoulders attitude" of our QB for the next 4 years, I wonder?

Or underthrowing Armstrong when he was wide open or throwing a pick when on a drive we could have tied the game.

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread

I don't know--there were times where the playcalling was weak, but still--how many crucial drops? Why cant McNabb hit Armstrong in stride for a TD? Why does Moss pop the ball up in the air when it hits him in the hands for an INT? Why the **** does Reilly block a guy in the back who is already beat? Etc. For all the playcalling, you execute these plays and you win the game.
