Finally something I can agree with this thread...well, 'cept the beer, I have that up a decade ago.

This article has nothing to do with the subject matter but, is in keeping with the thread title. I, like SS and others thought the article was about......

If NFL lockout leaves Sundays without games, could NASCAR or the NHL capitalize?

I'd rather slide down a razor into a bottle of alcohol then to watch NASCAR every Sunday.

Re: Passing The Time During A Work-Stoppage

Anyone accurately remember the story about how Darryl Grant jumped up and punched out a bus window that was full of scab players crossing a picket line?

Re: Passing The Time During A Work-Stoppage

Ive been working my butt off for the last 2 months or so. I wonder when a reporter will do some study about how much more productive the US work force is during the lockout like they do, but to the inverse, when march madness starts, etc.

That and ive been following a hell of alot more spring time baseball.

Chris Johnson has a plan if there is no 2011 season.

Chris Johnson sees a future in track if there’s a lockout - Shutdown Corner - NFL*Blog - Yahoo! Sports

I like it. I would love to see some of the top athletes in the NFL compete in track and field. Would be interesting.

Wait till he finds out that there are no 7-figure signing bonuses in track and field...
