Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)
Ryan Tannehill (6-2, 222), senior, QB, Texas A&M
Tannehill’s NFL potential finally took off after winning the starting job during the 2010 season. So far this year, he hasn't disappointed. Tannehill has displayed much better pocket sense. Combined with his foot quickness and athleticism, he moves efficiently to avoid pressure and can re-set, either in the pocket or outside, with accurate throws. He does an excellent job of reading defenses. When he finds open receivers, Tannehill gets rid of the ball quickly and is usually on target. He is more poised than before, and doesn't panic as plays breakdown. Also, he doesn't throw the ball up for grabs to avoid sacks. Tannehill has good arm strength and does a good job of throwing the ball where only the receiver can make a play. For a player who was viewed as a likely fourth-round pick entering the 2011 season, we have heard scouts talk about him being a high second-round pick now. PROJECTED: Second round. RT seems like a guy that would be a good player. A guy you could win with. But RG 3 could potentially be a great player. |

What denver is doing is nice and all and they will win the West but next year The Tebow project won't work, Just like the Wildcat after a year.. It's why they won't commit to him as their guy

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)
I agree. Tebow also isn't the greatest athlete at QB as was my argument. I was just making the point that tailoring your scheme to the most athletic and all-around best player is better than choosing a player that is not the best but better fits your scheme. Tebow is obviously not the most gifted passer in the league.

^ oh yeah no doubt, I want the skins to draft RG3 I think he's a player that can end up being a nightmare for other teams, great arm and faster than many linebackers in the league.

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)
Try ALL linebackers. Don't know many linebackers running the 100m in 10 seconds. He's faster than most players.

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)
I say if we draft Tannehill we A) better have traded down to get a lot of picks and B) better draft Kellen Moore, because I will not be amazed by Tannehill, he just looks like a College QB being forced to start for a prominent franchise.

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)
Cleveland and Miami could trade up.
