Washington Redskins Post-draft grade: C+ Summary: This felt like a novelty -- a Redskins draft with a ton of picks. The story of this draft was the fact that Washington didn't see a quarterback it wanted. Given the returns in the range in which the Redskins would have picked, it looks like a good calculation, at least in the short term. Only moving way down the board and ending up with Dalton could have looked better. Instead, the Redskins traded down, got Ryan Kerrigan at No. 16 and really aced the pick. Kerrigan picked up 7.5 sacks and played exactly as his draft projection had him pegged. Round 2 pick Jarvis Jenkins never saw the field because of injury, but both running back picks, Roy Helu and Evan Royster, played well when given the time, and I still think Leonard Hankerson has a chance to develop. Maurice Hurt looks like a seventh-round keeper. Having a lot of picks can help; it certainly helped this grade rise over the course of the season. New grade: B

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Prospects
That's why I'm not big on the idea of trading up for anyone. We still have a lot of holes to fill, and we could really use another nice big draft class to keep building up the roster.

I really liked what the Skins did last year because it was totally different then what they have done in the past. Usually it was toss in several picks to move up and be limited as to what picks we made. Atleast last year not only did the team get younger but it got better quality wise and back up wise. |

Jenkins Paul Robinson Jenkins was hurt so he really could only be evaluated through preseason but looked good. Paul for me he really didn't show much other then blocking skils, and Robinson hardly saw the field. I'd like to see these three step up big and be productive along with this years draft class and FA's. |

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Prospects
Here's the good news, the Redskins coach the South team for the Senior Bowl which has Weeden, Foles, and Lindly as it's QB's.
NFL.com news: Oklahoma State's Weeden among three QBs on South squad I'll say it... I'm thinking the team takes either Weeden or Foles in the draft because they will have worked with them and know how good they are.... unless of course RGIII should happen to fall to #6. |

I know the Skins have expressed some interest in BJ Coleman and Harnish

Those would be crappy numbers in the Pac 12. He played at Chattanooga.
