Re: Pics for Sharing

I can't beleive it got that much attention! I once got a receipt with a whole story on the back about how me and the other bar tender were acting like fraternity boys and not taking our job serious. We read it to the whole bar after the d-head left; everyone in the bar started laughing.

Here is one of my best bar-tending stories:

I use to bartend in Tysons Corner at a pretty nice place back like 10 or 12 years ago. There were these two FBI guys that came in nearly every night and they were just really annoying. I use to tease them that they investigated any compliments to the copyright warning at the start of every VHS tape, they never got any really exciting cases. They just like to brag they were FBI.

Any who one week there was a Fireman's convention going on in DC and this pretty fire lady kept coming in and the one FBI guy kept hitting on her. I told him I could get a date with her before the week was out before him.He disagreed so we made a bet. If he got a date before me then I buy him a beer every time he came in. If I got the date first him and his buddy needed to find a new bar.

So the week dragged on and he kept talking with her and what not but she would always stay after they left. I got to talking to her and found out she was in the color guard for her fire department and other stuff; she was from Denver. Finally on Thursday I asked her if she like to get lunch; she said she liked ethnic food so I took her to Lebanese Taverna on Saturday afternoon. She was really cool and I finally just told her about the bet. She laughed and said when we got back to the hotel she had something for me.

Well come Monday evening my two favorite FBI guys come strolling in with big grins on their faces. The one guy I made a bet with sits down and says "looks like we both struck out". I smiled and proceed to place six cocktail napkins with notes written on them by him asking our fire lady friend out plus I placed down 3 badges she gave me from her color guard uniform. They both got up without a word and walked out. I never saw them again.
