And even that, in Goodell's press conference yesterday, while refusing to answer most questions, it seemed like he made a slip of the tongue where he said that no vote occurred (which contradicts the tweet posted earlier). I don't think it really matters, as the matter has been filed to the special master, and both sides will have to make their cases there. Since it doesn't sound like a backroom deal is going to get done, I think we have to accept that we will be stuck with the lowered cap at least for this off season.

I agree. Which, I'll be just fine if we have to deal with the lower cap this offseason, as long as they make it right next season. The biggest thing is just righting the wrong that has happened.
