I mean the stat is nice, but RG3 got trucked on several drop backs. It was kind of the theme of the first half and Gruden spoke to it at length. This offense just can't pass protect. It's a legit concern.

I thought the Redskins offensive line did a great job keeping Griffin III healthy and upright. The Giants defensive front are great at penetrating and Griffin III got rid of the ball in time to avoid sacks. But the Giants pass rush is almost impossible to completely contain.

Also a lot of those hits were clearly after Griff had released the ball, some may have been, but I'm not calling roughing the passer cause i don't expect anyone to be able to stop their momentum in mid air after sprinting as hard as they can at someone.

I'd say the line managed fine, Now Trent did miss one arm tackle that they highlighted on TV but other then that his blocking was stellar all around getting to second level blocks on almost every play.

I can't imagine someone else coming in and doing as good a job as Kyle.

I guess it really depends on how long Mike plans to coach. If we really just wants to coach out the rest of his contract, then i could see snyder/allen convincing Kyle to stay if they promised making him the HC when his dad retires. If Mike has no intention of retiring anytime soon, then Kyle is gone... and i'm worried he'd go to Philly or Dallas.
I'm more worried about Roman or Gruden going to Philly or Dallas. And I still think it's basically irrelevent who schemes our offense. We have the most dynamic QB in the league right now and plenty of talent surrounding him. If this regime can get the defense right (top 10 say) we'll be a contender for the SB, but that's the big ? at this point.

Irrelevant unless it's a failed play...then it's Kyle's fault right?

What are the odds that dally drafts that QB up for the Heisman this year to copy us.....

Sounds like a sure fire Jarrah move to me.

Looking forward the Seattle schedule really worries me. They could be 10-6 a whole lot easier than we can, they have Arizona buffalo San Fran and the rams and all but buffalo are home games...

That's what I meant the hits came just after the release. The first one was just nasty.

Huh? Pay attention to the games kiddo, RG3 got smashed several times. Who cares whether he's holding the ball at that moment the slams are still going to take their toll.

To put it in reverse, Manning was sacked but otherwise hardly got touched.

49ers and rams aren't going to be cakewalks, and the cards have already beaten them. we'll see how it shakes out
