Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread
Our WRs aren't very good. There is more to being an NFL WR than running fast and catching the ball. The ability to run a good route must simply not be there. It is the only reason we seem to rarely sell anything in the passing game.

Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread
hail mary it every time, really a penalty or a catch will move us up. trying to get a 17 play drive against this team is impossible

Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread
Zorn is a fantastic playcaller, but his issues on game management are very frustrating.
I choose frustrating because a lot of wildly successful coaches have game management issues. Unfortunately, the Redskins aren't good enough to overcome these issues. Hall almost tried to make that tackle.

Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread
This offense is mediocre. There are just some people who want to blame every single person from ARE, the entire OL, the refs, Zorn, Vinny Cerraton, Danny Snyder, our fans, etc. BUT Jason Campbell is untouchable.
Having potential is not the same as getting results. He's only going to get so many games this season and next. |

Quote:
JC is part of the offense and to be honestly has to also be held accountable. He is still doing things he did in the beginning of his being a starter and holds on to the ball too long at times like Ramsey did most of the time. Like Patrick he hesitates to run with it when he could make a first down or more. This crap( and throwing a ton of INTs) cost Ramsey his starting position and probably his pro career. JC needs to step it up like everyone else. I have been a Skins fan for a very long time. You can't say JC doesn't have the ingredients anymore than one could say the same with Ramsey or even Frerotte. Both of those guys had Wrs making dumb drops(Westbrook, Gardner come to mind), stupid penalties and banged up RBs(Allen, Davis) and O linemen(Lachey, Uhlenake, Raymer). Great QBs take charge of the game and make things happen on their own if need be!!!!!! The honeymoon with JC is over. He needs to show us what he can do or step aside and give a new guy a try at it!!!!! |

Re: Redskins vs. Ravens game day thread
I'm in the closet. I thought about tiptoeing upstairs to get my Flacco jersey to put on top of my Campbell one... Then I got too lazy.
