He did start every game for the jags last year, and he played 3 years for the texans as a #3 and also had 5 starts there (presumeably due to injury).

110 games played, 50 career starts, 1 game as a DNP (did not play)... that leaves 1 game unaccounted for (the 2003 texans game where i'd guess he missed due to injury).

the fact that its a 1 year deal for a #3 CB means it a sub $1mill payout i'd assume.

David Elfin, of the Washington Times, reports negotiations between lawyers for Washington Redskins S Sean Taylor and Florida state's attorneys on possibly altering the charges that Taylor faces proved fruitless and his trial remains scheduled for April 10. Taylor faces a maximum of 46 years in prison: 15 years on each of three felony assault charges and one year on a simple battery charge.

So, with Ade Jimoh and Kenny Wright about to be signed, does that change the draft priorities you think? With Springs, Rogers, Wright and Jimoh presumably the top four corners, now I'm not so sure cornerback remains an absolute need in the draft.

According to this (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/03/31/AR2006033101656.html) we could be going OLB in the second round. Plus we might be bringing in LB Keith Adams and re-signing Warrick Holdman

since we got thoses 2 OL backups LB has been favored (a #3CB is MUCH cheaper and easier to find than a starter LB in free agency). I'd still like to go OG in the draft cause i'm not sold on the OL fodder they signed (both to one year deals, meaning they're not highly thought of).

This is where it hurts that we traded our 3. Normally, that's a great round to go get an offensive lineman. I think the value will be other places in round 2, and that if we do go offensive line, it should be an offensive tackle.

the good tackles are gone by then. you can get the #1 or #2 OG in the draft, or you can get the #6 OT. Our weakest link is dockery, and he only has a 1 year deal. jansen and samuels are locked up long term, as are thomas and rabach.

don't forget about Jamar Fletcher,according to the wp he's supposed to visit monday. He might not have turned out to be a shut down corner after getting drafted in the 1st rnd., but he's a solid nickel back.
I love the resigning of evans, he's made his career here & seems to be a gibbs/g.williams kinda guy, plays dt & de. he'll never be a star but he's 1 of the kind of role players that makes a team.

yeah, i wonder if K wright kills the fletcher deal. but we only have 3 safeties, one of which can't cover, so he might still be brought in. It'd be crazy to get him and adams and still have a 2nd and a bunch of fodder draft picks... If we do that and don't win the SB it'd be a total failure though :(
