I don't remember how Ervins was such a change of pace from Byner. They were both athletic types, Ervins always just came out fresher. I loved watching Ervins, he had great instincts, i don't know why he never started here or somewhere later.
The whole thing about Duckett is that he's a little of both, pace and size, and he can play both of those roles.
Ladell is a luxury at this point, and we have big needs elsewhere.
Byner was more of the between the tackles runner while Ervins had some nice speed and agility to get outside. Riggs was just a bull.

yeah Riggs was the other role i meant when i was talking about Duckett btw, hoping that was clear. CP as Ervins and Duckett as Byner/Riggs then I suppose. alot has changed since 91 though, hard to believe Atlanta has been number 1 rushing team two years in a row (Atlanta?) with Dunn and Duckett.

ha. if only they put Eli Manning this year. But Madden always does a year ahead..ah nevermind. so its proper to call a season by the superbowl date got it.

ahha yea so technically it was 05 lewis 06 mcnabb 07 SA 04 vick..but they were all hurt the year before....
