LaVar Arrington In Motorcycle AccidentBigSKINBauer 06-18-2007, 03:36 PM Yeah, i hope he'll be ok. SmootSmack 06-18-2007, 03:39 PM Here's a blurb from Redskins Insider LaVar Arrington's Motorcycle Accident (UPDATED) LaVar's difficult run of luck these last few years took its worst turn when the former Pro Bowl LB was injured in a motorcycle accident in PG County today. He was rushed to PG County Hospital after being involved in a single vehicle crash with multiple broken bones and head trauma. NEW STUFF: Just heard from some people very close to LaVar that he broke his arm and leg in the accident. I am trying to find out about any head injuries as fast as possible. I also heard that LaVar's wife had twins (a boy and a girl) a few weeks ago. END OF NEW STUFF That's all we know for now but obviously will be working on it all day and night. Arrington, who bought his way out of his contract with the Redskins, ruptured his Achilles early last season with the NY Giants and has been recovering since. Numerous NFL players believe Arrington had been seriously considering retirement and his agent had said that Arrington would not have be ready to pass an NFL physical until August or so. dmek25 06-18-2007, 03:44 PM my prayers go out to lavar and his family. i hope there is a happy ending to this story Jamaican'Skin 06-18-2007, 03:45 PM Thats terrible news. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family mlmpetert 06-18-2007, 03:48 PM Wow, that really sucks to hear. I hope he pulls though 100%. He is still one of my favorite players. Schneed10 06-18-2007, 03:57 PM Motorcycles. Always a great idea. Dumb decision to ride a bike IMO, but I hope he gets well. Rajmahal33 06-18-2007, 04:17 PM I feel so sorry for Lavar with his horrible luck for the past year or so. I think they are saying he will make a full recovery which is great news. Anyway as long as there is no permanent damage, I think this will be a good lesson learned for him and for the redskins community. STAY OFF OF THOSE FREAKIN BIKES PLEASE. We don't need to see one of our active players pull a Kellen Winslow before this becomes a "real" issue for us. VTSkins897 06-18-2007, 04:23 PM Motorcycles. Always a great idea. Dumb decision to ride a bike IMO, but I hope he gets well. agree 100%. i sure hope that he's okay though. it doesn't sound life-threatening though so that's a good thing. Warpath 06-18-2007, 04:37 PM I don't feel bad for him personally because he didn't have the required liscense and thats just an idiotic thing to do. But on a human level I hope the guy is alright and it look slike he probably will be. His NFL career is over. Anyone want an Arrington jersey? I have 3: the probowl one, the burgundy, or the white. firstdown 06-18-2007, 04:38 PM Wow, talk about the way his life has changed over the past three years. One year he is one of the most feard D players in the NFL on top of the world. Couple years latter he is fighting for his life.I hope he can get back to 100% and spend time with those new children. While talking bikes. If you single and have no dependents then do as you please. If your married and have children its time to step back from those type of things. |
