wait a minute, our dline may not be the dolphins dline but your oline is not on the same planet as our oline.....so yes we can hold ronnie brown to 4 yards because we can out play your oline. besides taylor our dlines are very comparable. you better hope joey porter is worth every penny he signed for. your secondary is extremely suspect, you dont even go one deep at corner so expect us to spread it out to run and pass...plus i mean we posted numbers on the jags last year whose dline is better than yours. we had no problem with them and santana moss will have a huge day. i love me some will allen

Um... WHAT?!? Ronnie Brown isnt to that elite level yet... but he is on his way. Behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league, he has averaged 4.3 ypc. He has barely even been used in the 2 years he has been in the league... but produces every time he touches the ball. Not to mention, he is one of the best blocking RBs in the league, and has fantastic hands... better than a lot of WRs. He definatly has the best hands on our team....What is that saying about your WR corp? If you cant be balanced its not gonna matter how many YPC RB averaged last year.

Not to mention the Dolphins didn't do anything to help that core this year. Didn't they lose Randy McMicheal and Wes Welker. I know Wes Welker isn't even that good, but the Phins need all they can get there.

That guy is going to get murdered. He shouldn't have been a first round pick. The would have been better off going with someone like Dwayne Jarret or Dwayne Bowe. Yet they pick a guy who has only speed in his arsenal. I know I might get a Santana Moss comparison, but this guy is too small and is what you would call a "route running god". Wasted pick, this guy could wait until the 4th round IMO.

Skins 14-13 Fish

The reason picking games is so hard is that even if you make the smart logical selection (i.e. the best team), you still have a good chance of being wrong.

Over the course of the season, if I say the Skins are going to go 9-7, I may miss some games here and there (they might beat GB and lose to the Cards for all I know), but at least things have a chance to even out for me, and allow my prediction to be accurate anyway. In a single game, if one team fumbles one too many times, or drops one too many interceptions, they could lose a very winnable game. Now, later that season, a team could pick up a win in similar style, a dropped INT by the opponent, or by recoving a ball the QB was stripped of.

But thats why it's pointless to debate the matchups, IMO. Theres been some great points on both sides of things that could determine the outcome of this game, but even the most fundamental of knowledges comes down to a wild guess.

I'll hold on to my Skins pick in this one, but I'd never get on anyone for taking the Dolphins. Remember, you can always defend your pick by saying "I think they will get lucky!" Then no one can argue with you ;)

41-9 Washington, maybe 12 but the Dolphins will not score one touchdown. All field goals, all day. The media and press will say that it was a fluke and that Washington took advantage of a Dolphins team that isn't that good, they have a new coach blah blah blah.
