tonites episode was whack,to me it screwed up the whole premise,"the island wont let you die"? then wtf is there to worry about? Micheal shouldnt have to save anybody,I'm confused

Yeah that's what I'm saying. I mean obviously people died on the island itself, and Ben keeps saying saying if you leave the island you will die. But now we hear you can't????

I guess it means Jin didn't die back on the mainland. Or does it? Who knows what the hell is going on

Those are the cliffhangers? You have to be kidding me.

Michael, a character we haven't seen in 2 years and whom most people don't like, may or may not die at the hands of the freighter captain. Or Alex is flailing around in the jungle while there are snipers with silencers shooting at her.

That episode just flat-out sucked. I'm expecting a lot better of Lost starting April 24.

BTW, Gay Tom didn't say the island doesn't let anyone die ever - he said the island won't let Michael die right now, because Michael has work to do.

Good point

It was a decent episode, but I was disappointed in the the fact that the person who died was Karl...after the hype that they gave us.

I'm not sure what to garner from Ben/Widmore. The story is at least the same, but it's kinda hard to tell which is telling the truth. I'm leaning towards Ben being behind the masquerade for the simple fact that he doesn't want anyone from the camp to go to the Temple because it's not for them.

I agree - I hate it when they do that. However, I think the person they were referring to was Rousseau, not Karl. At least she's been around since the first season.

I had a different take. I think he's been trying to take Alex and Karl out for betraying him.

It was a decent episode
Not being antagonistic - just curious what made you think it was OK. Did that episode do anything to move any of the plotlines forward? I thought it was 99-100% filler (the only exception being that we now know the island can influence events off the island).

No matter what has happened, Ben has always been protective of Alex...I don't think he's trying to off her, but perhaps show her he can get to those closest to her by offing Karl and Rousseau...however, I'm not convinced Rousseau is dead. And I'm also not convinced that it's Ben or his people doing the shooting...Lapidus and the helicopter has been gone for a while...

What made it ok for me was catching us up on Michael and what happened to him between leaving on the boat, and getting on the freighter, and why the freighter has been sitting where it is for so long. I do however think the hallucinations with Libby were a bit far fetched, but it gave insight as to the timeframe of the flashback.

The one thing that should become clear down the line is how those deemed worthy are able to leave the island as they wish, and why they continue to live in the island.

Oh boy! Another hour added to this season...

14th Hour of Lost Confirmed With 2 Hour Season Finale! - Sledgeweb's LOST ... STUFF (http://lost.cubit.net/archives/2008/04/14th-hour-of-lost-confirmed-wi.php)
Auseillo has confirmed that Lost will get its 14th hour this season. "We are very excited and grateful to [ABC president] Steve McPherson for working out the scheduling difficulties to allow us to make the second part of our finale two hours," says exec producer Carlton Cuse. "Damon and I were working on the script and we just couldn't get it all done in one hour without shortchanging the story. Now the finale will have all the sweep and emotional completeness we wanted it to have." You read it correctly! We are now going to have a two hour season finale. There is one catch, we will have to wait two weeks from the May 15th episode. to the May 29th two hour finale.

ABC's agreement with Lost created some scheduling conflicts. May 22nd was suppose to be the night of finales. Lost's season finale had to move to a different night, which left ABC with a free hour at 9pm. To fill this void, Grey's Anatomy will know also get an extra hour and a two hour season finale. Lost finale will be three hours total. It will start with one hour on May 15th and conclude with the two hour fianle on May 29th.

Here is how the new schedule will run.

May 15
8 pm: Ugly Betty
9 pm: Grey's Anatomy
10 pm: Lost (part 1 finale)

May 22
8 pm: Ugly Betty finale
9-11 pm: Two-hour Grey's Anatomy finale

May 29
8 pm: Lost encore (part 1 finale)
9-11 pm: Two-hour Lost finale
