I can't stop weeping

If you weep, weep only because we lost draft picks for that clown.

We should start (or just do it on this thread) a Brandon Lloyd sayonara rap series. I think it'd be hotter than Chris Cooley's wife.

Did Tony say that Snyder signed Stubblefield? C'mon Tony do your homework. We signed Stubby in 1998, that didn't happen on Snyder's watch.

He did say that. Bad. That was a John Cooke & Charley Casserly move. I think they signed Dan W. that same year.

Interesting "talking points" from Kornheiser & Wilbon on Loyd. Pay attention to what Wilbon says early on; that people in the front office said no to signing Loyd.

Thanks for posting. So I guess the scouts did their jobs. Vinny, Snyder and Gibbs simply did not listen. Very surprising since Joe is so high on bringing character guys in. Lesson learned. The hard way.

He did say he loved the selection of Zorn as HC, but that's about the only positive thing I can find looking at his last 50 posts or so.

I do love the selection of the Zornato and I believe I gave props to the great job Todd Collins did in saving the season.

The Wilkinson move was a trade too (did that involve a first rounder? So long ago), but he was actually somewhat productive in Washington for a few years.

The coaches and FO assesment of BL was as bad as his play.

Not that Redskins Warpath should be held to the same level of scrutiny, but the drumbeat on here was pretty loud too ... almost unanimously positive if you go back and look.

Don't forget Saunders. He was very high on this move.

If the FO had done their homework they would've known he was a bad locker room guy. I remember reading about Lloyd in a fantasy football magazine and it was saying how he ( and Kevan Barlow) were HATED by all of the veterans that were on SF. It said that he was more worried about his dread locks and music career rather than playing football. Now if I can pick this out of a magazine then I'm sure our FO can pick up the phone and ask around. Don't ya think?? But hey, that's all in the past and he's a gone so let's move forward.

I'd prefer that we don't pick any wr's in the first two rounds. DE and guard would be my first two choices. It looks like we can and should make a move for Hackett. He's put up some big numbers when he's healthy so maybe he'll come here and take the next step. But only for the right price.

I think the real problem is that the Redskins knew of his problems but they thought they could change him. They were like that girl with the jerk boyfriend "I know he's an ass, but I love him and I can change him!!"
