This is what happens when you act like an asshole and throw money around like a fool at a club! What a Jerkoff! Is this surprising at all to anyone? I hope this bum is broke after football...

You wish you could act like this??? Dude, you deserve an ass beating too!

I was just about to post this. Sounds like he is in better condition now. Still, orbital fracture can't be good

Hope he's ok. But ordering champagne until 6:30 in the morning...damn! I heard he dropped over $25k on champagne. I wish I could do that

Um...ok? I meant I wish I had an extra $25k lying around that I could drop on bottles of champagne...

Its because normal people don't have $100 dollar bills to throw away.

Look, I believe everyone is entitled to a good time as long as it doesn't break any laws, or hurts anyone. The guy went to Vegas. Not to sit on his ass in a hotel room and watch TV, but to go out and have fun. If this is his way of doing so, then so be it.

You are allowed to go out to clubs and do as you please without anyone harassing you because you aren't a target, a guy like him is. Does that take away from his right to spend money as he wishes and spray the crowd with Dom P? No.

Finally, I went to school in DC where shootings occurred at clubs on more than one occasion. Did that stop me from going out? No.

I think y'all are being to hard on the guy. Athletes go out to clubs and bars all the time, and incidents don't occur. J. Walk was unlucky, and I think its unecessary for you guys to say that these guys should stay home or stay away from dangerous places (where isn't dangerous nowadays?) so stuff like this won't happen

Let me ask you this. If you owned an NFL team would you invest 27- 30 mil. over 3 years on Javon Walker? I'm not saying you have to stay home. But I'm not investing in a guy that can't stay away from the nightclub scene.

I think that's missing the point of this debate, though. Some people are acting as if Walker deserved this or brought it on himself. That's the debate.

To answer your question: No way in hell. I would be pretty pissed if I was the Raiders, but (as a fan) I still feel sorry for the guy and don't think he deserved it. Also, I don't know that I would have spent that kind of money on him in the first place...

If I was an NFL owner, I wouldn't value J Walk at as much as the Raiders paid him. It has nothing to do with this incident, but rather the guy's production. Reports are saying that he should be good for the start of training camp, so no hurt, no foul to the Raiders. Walker is still the victim

It's somewhat scary that some people believe that stupidity should be punished by a severe beatdown. That is kind of like saying people who don't use their seatbelts deserve to be ejected from their vehicles. Javon may have used poor judgment, but that doesn't mean he deserved to have his face smashed.

I went to the link that was posted of the video of him squirting people down and I liked this story.

Laxative-Laced Cake Makes For Bad Senior Prank

They baked a cake for the teachers and put laxative in with the mix. The sad part is now they face criminal charges. Can't the school just scare the kids about not graduating or not letting them perticipate in their graduation instead of calling the cops.

I think its a humanity issue. People become critics on certain issues once they aren't involved. So statements like, I don't feel sorry for him are used because they believe that athletes should use the example of one person in one incident to manipulate the way they run their lives.

Athletes are just like us, except they have a little bit more money. Don't hold them to a standard that you yourself don't uphold.

Example, how many car accidents have occurred on highways. Using y'alls logic, smart people shouldn't drive on highways, because people die there all the time.

Give the guy a break

Well...not saying I'm smart at all but I do try to avoid highways as much as possible only because of the number of vehicles on the highway. COMMON SENSE tells you that the more cars on the highway the better chance you have of getting into an accident.

Lets use your logic then. He should not have any problem walking into a biker bar and asking for a drink right? or walking into a gay bar and not getting hit on because it's not his fault for going into those places right or because he has a right as a citizen to go into those places.

Make no mistake...he was a victim. Some of us are saying that if he valued his money and his jewlery and his life he would not have:
1. been out all night. although it's his right to.
2. flashed his jewlery. Save it for a more upscale party.
3. SPRAYED PEOPLE WITH CHAMPAIGN. It kinda pisses people off.

Number three is what probably caused the beating. Yeah he was having fun with Mayweather but someone probably got sprayed that did not want to get sprayed and took it to another level.

You know it's funny. When your young you think you can defend yourself from anything until you find out you can't. As you get older and mature you realize that there is always someone out there that can take what you have at anytime. They can steal your car. steal your money. steal your identity. The only thing one can do is try to eliminate the "chances of opportunity". Oh, he's a victim but a victim of his own circumstance.
