I don't have a problem getting rid of Frost but some of what he said is very true.

Such as?

I thought that most of the draft picks would make the team, but all 10 made it. Cudos to Vinny Cerrato! Thats 20% of the active roster. Pretty unbelievable IMO.

Well, that would be unbelievable if Cerrato had nothing to do with the final roster. I would say he has some hand in the decision as to who gets cut and who makes it. So naturally his picks make the team.

Also, for all of you who voted for Mix on the "Who's gonna have a breakout year?" poll, I guess the man-crush is officially over.

WHAT?!? The Exalted One didn't make it !?? Mankind will rue the day His Excellency Anthony Mix was denied his rightful throne on the Redskins roster.

I understand that but right now he can't help us beat NY so put him on PUP. He is of no use right now.

So you want to put Thomas on PUP even though he's not injured and I doubt the league would let that fly to start with, lose him until week 6, and then try to continue to develop his progress as a rookie at that time? He's already behind, and you want to put him further behind?

Sorry but that just makes no sense.

Shame that Mason got cut but I think it was a case that there just wasn't room for him.
Glad that Brooks is our punter. He will have his ups and downs, but I think overall he will be more consistent than Frost.

Matty....I think Skinsfan was talking about Kelly who was and still is injured. He tried to practice Thurs. prior to the game and his knee swelled. It could still take weeks before he's cleared to play.

Frost needed to go. He flashed in preseason all the time but played half-a@@ during the season.

To me Mason is the big supprise. Everyone raves about Rock but he actually sucks. Everyone asks how does Mason contribute? He's not playing several positions. I say the same about Rock. He only plays ST's. Oh, we call him a RB but he runs nothing but the kick offs. Everytime he was used as a RB he ran more East/West then North/South. I will give you guys the one 75 yrd run. He got lucky because he usually fumbles also atleast once in a game. Plus he's as old as Betts and Portis. I thought I read or heard they all came out of the same draft class. Mason was our ..."Getting younger" RB that we needed.

Tyon was simply BAD. We could have gotten rid of him for McMullen. Kept McMullen until Kelly got better then let McMullen go. Hell, I guarentee if we cut Tryon this weekend he would not have been picked up by any other team. If he showed that much promis we could have brought him pack for practice sqauad.

Kelly should haved been put on the PUP list until he was 100% and able to practice. Tryon should have been cut. This would have enabled the team to keep McMullen, Mason then brought Tryon back for the learning curve on the practice squad if they liked him so much. McMullen could have helped this team for now until Kelly got better and was able to play. I'm a Mason fan I'll admit and my opinion is skewed, but Mason showed more RB skills then Rock did. I'll admit Mason showed nothing on ST's. But,...we still have Betts who actually did the job before Rock did it and actually did it better. We also have Randel El, Thrash who did the job before Rock, and what happened to Thomas who was a kick returner gu-ru in college? I saw him catch the ball and run 5-10yrds and run into his blocker and stop. ...and then get tackled. LOL. Everytime. LOL.

I'm guessing since McMullen was cut they don't anticipate Kelly's knee being a long term problem. Still, I am bit surprised we're going with 5 WRs considering the two rookies are very behind schedule.

Here is what I'm saying. Neither Kelly or Thomas have done shit this whole pre season. I'm not saying cut them cause I know that isn't going to happen. But right now they are totally useless in helping us beat NY. Kelly hasn't even gotten on the field in a game yet. Thomas just looks lost out there, he simply isn't ready to play a regular season game. I assume that you agree with me that Billy M. had a better pre season than both of them. So why cut the guy, even though he is a jouneymen, when he out performed both of the top picks?? Somehow I find a way to keep him on the team. He knows the offense and he performed well in pre season games. Total BS move IMO.
