Has Zorn already hand picked the QB for his offense?

Yup, he failedat being able to throw the ball while laying flat on his a$$ with a defensive player on top of him. It's all JC's fault. :doh:Yeah, you know those crazy college rules teach those QBs some bad habits, like the play stops when you are getting crushed on the ground by some 320 lb DT.

I like Brennan but he's going to have to bulk up if he's going to play QB at this level. I saw him (he was hanging with Cooley) in Atlantic City soon after the season ended and he can't be more than 185 soaking wet. I think he has the skill to be a good quarterback in the NFL but the question is can he withstand the punishment.

It always amazes me that all of the Colt Cult won't acknowledge that he didn't even beat out a 38 year old for the 2nd spot last year, yet they scream he's the next coming at the position.

Thats not a very good argument. That 38 year old guy lead us to the playoffs and colt was a rook.

Nobody expected him to.. it's very doubtful he would've even gotten the chance to become number 2.. you bring in a 6th rounder behind a guy you just paid decent money to stay and the roster spot will remain the same regardless

Colt might go in and look a little more exciting in the passing game, but I'd have to say he'd probably throw more INTs as well.. he's accurate but still needs to develop more in defensive reads now that he's in the NFL.. Campbell does too, but he's shown most of the other characteristics of being a leader

I was able to see him for two years as the QB for Hawaii and he's built to play on Sundays. He has a knack for winning and making clutch passes. He's going to get banged around, but he will get back up and make plays. I also like watching Campbell, he's very consistent. In fact, too consistent. Our offense need Colt's energy.

Everybody knows the only reason that Colt isn't starting is because the NFL deemed him too dangerous to play in regular season games. They know he will break every passing record ever created in his first month as a starter and they don't want to undo 100+ years of NFL History.
