I am in no way advocating any trades, but I will keep saying I have concerns about Kelly. I think Thomas will be decent. It all depends on how we use him. He has speed and can get seperation, but until he learns the routes and actually performs them JC can't seem to trust him.

Kelly on the other hand has my concern due to his knees. What is degenerative knees? Can he play with that issue? He had one surgery prior to last season keeping him off the field for half the season. He just had another surgery in Jan. They say he's supposed to be ready to perform come training camp but will he be able to? Will his knees constantly be a problem? If so, then we need another WR. Getting a bonified proven WR would eliminate some of the questions and then we can lean toward getting Thomas up to speed and hope Kelly works out for us. So what if we have several good WR's. Moss, ARE, Boldin, Thomas, and Kelly. We could then let Thrash go unless he is a pacifier for some of you.

Ok, I'll bite.

Lets compare the two.

LF averages 5.6 catches and 78.6 Yards per game. AB averages 6.3 CPG(rounded up from 6.275) and 81.2 YPG. The only thing Fitz is better at it he has 6 more TDs than Boldin in 4 less games. That equates to a little more than 1 td a year. Last year though, Boldin actually had 11tds in only 12 games while it took Fitz 16 games to score 12 times. Boldin has 4 1,000 yard seasons to Fitzgeralds 3. People think Fitzgerald is way better than Boldin and the Stats just don't back that up. ANd lets not forget, he got his face broke in week 4 against the Jets and was back 3 games later. IMO Fitz IS the better receiver but not by the stretch that you make is sound like.

Boldin is one hell of a receiver. When the season came around he stopped complaining and played ball hard. He had one emotional outburst at his coach and now he is a trouble maker? Why isn't anybody saying that about Kurt Warner? He was in his coaches face after every failed 3rd down.

You forgot one thing that Fitz is better at - keeping defenses honest.

As I said before, Boldin is an excellent player. I am not knocking him. He can be your #1 as he showed previously. But he is not a speed burner. With Boldin as your #1 defenses can cheat a little against the deep ball. Defenses cannot cheat the same way with Fitz.

With Boldin as your #1, you sooner or later will wish for a better deep threat, as the Cards already showed by bringing in Fitz.

Just for the sake of argument Santana is our burner, so Boldin fits in perfectly with us. Again im not talking about giving picks, strictly as a player who could fit into the system.

If we could get Boldin for a 2nd next year and a our 5th this year, I'd do it, but this is very unlikely since Arizona is asking for a 1st and a 3rd, but anything is possible on Draft Day.

I am all for dropping back in the draft for more picks. However you have to have a willing participant to do that. My second option is picking at #13. However if it looks like we are going to lose out on a player that would make this team better then trade up.

What would it take to move up? Our 1st and what? Since the Cards are not getting to many takers wanting a 1st and 3rd would they settle for less or would the Skins give up next yrs 1st and this yrs 3rd?

I know, I know we would be giving up to much for simply two players. I hope it does not happen. I do have a bad feeling the Skins will try to move up for Sanchez unless they totally have me fooled. But I still have concerns about Kelly and think we need another big possession WR either through draft or FA. I hope I'm totally wrong about Kelly and he comes back with something to prove and healthy, but digenerative knees sounds like something that keeps getting worse not better. Plus it sounds like something that surgery will not totally fix.

Kurt Warner has a superbowl ring, the injury against the jets wasn't lost on me.yet there is something about him ....the give me a new contract or trade me thing and lets not forget that the #2 man should be open and making playes when the #1 man is double and triple coverd...alll the time, and this was with out a running game to speak of.You say one outburst ....only one caught on TV from what people say at least 5 during the season and that includes during training camp.TO ME and this is my opinion only we have young talent that can play just as well given the chance.
