Robert Thomas moving up the depth chart isn't a good sign even though he did his job on teams.

whyd you stop there? my point was we struggled to score points.We didnt score over 20 points in a game again till the last game of the season(unless you count dtroit,we scored 25,but moss scored on a punt return,not the off}
so over the last 11 games we averaged 14 points a game,thats my point.

I wondered the same. Thats when things began to slide.

Clearly we need to score more points on a more consistent basis. Even "kool aid drinkers" will tell you that.

Have some patience my friend, its was only 10 plays. Come back with that argument after 2 more games and maybe it would be relevant.

Look, if we don't dominate, on both sides of the line, one of our first 3 opponents (NYG, STL, DET) then the "Kool-aid buzz" will be gone.

But for preseason, and I mean all 4 games, I don't want the coaches worrying about running up the score, I want them to evaluate the 2s against the opponents 1s, the 3s against the opponents 2s, but guess what, that means more often than not, we will lose the game.

I think he stopped because he had proved that not scoring in pre-season does not equal not scoring in regular season.

No need to panic yet. Wait til after preseason game #3 and if the same trend continues then start to panic. Thing is our secondary thus far looks like a sieve, if they can tighten up by the regular season we should be OK, but if they are going to be a leaky sieve during preseason, why think things will be much diiferent when the games really count?

If anything we have been exposed as having major depth problems.

wow im shocked JC was ineffective. lol

why dont they keep him in longer during pre-season games? apparently he has a looooong learning curve.

we'll need turnovers by the defense this year to get some starting field position, because if you think JC is going to drive us 80 yards, you havent watched any games the last 2+ years. I know, blame it on injuries to the O-line and changing coordinators . . blah blah blah.
