They may not be open by a wide margin, but as open as they're going to get by NFL standards. A receiver does not always have to be "wide open" to give him an opportunity to make a play on the ball. Being afraid of making a mistake or throwing the INT has affected the way Jason is playing. Once he comes to the realization receivers are not always going to be running "wide open", he'll trust them more and take advantage of that brief moment when the opening is there and they can make a play. It's a trust factor, with time they will get better. cpayne5 10-05-2009, 02:49 PM Kelly and Thomas can't get open because they come out of their breaks way too slow. There is something else going on, I am not quite sure what it is. I would put money on Marko failing in the number 2 spot as well. Not just receivers. It's hard to tell if the current regime has any ability to develop talent. 11 draft picks last year and no one but Horton could get on the field as a rookie, and even that didn't happen until Doughty went down with injury. MK, DT and FD could all be bums, but who knows. They're essentially 3 games into their rookie season playing for an Offense that struggles mightily being coached by an unproven and heavily scrutinized staff that may not be here next year. dmvskinzfan08 10-05-2009, 02:56 PM I kinda messed up in my post too.
