lol stop shopping at the Giant in Anacostia! :laughing2

The whole metro area is in pandemonium. I think it's rather amusing.

Me too. This town is so lame when it comes to inclement weather.

I can only imagine what the Anacostia Giant was like. She went to the one in Bethesda and it was mayhem!

Wow. This will be only the 3rd time on record we've had 2 double digit snows in the same season. Hard to believe.

Here's a great link for anyone looking for tips on how to deal with the DC area "snowpocalypse:"

I don't think the forecast is off my friend. We may not get two feet, but I haven't seen a single forecast predicting less than double digits for the DC area. It's coming...

Yeah I don't think there's any way in hell I'm leaving my place for the Superbowl. Fortunately my fiancee loves football, so we'll likely just chill on the couch and watch the game. Unfortunately I bet they'll postpone the Caps-Pens game scheduled for noon on Sunday. I was really looking forward to that one.

Crap, I just realized I have no booze in the house. I'll be back later guys....
Oh man.. good call

roomie sent his woman out for stuff on her way home from work.. a TON of food, but she forgot the beer

I guess I'd better hit the store in the morning

This was from a Vdot source. I hope its not true, but have no idea. Apperently they are delaying the announcement? Dont hold me to it. But stock up. I had to hitchhike 21st century style last weekend (craigslist) to get out of my house and get beer. Stock up

hahahahahahahahahaha

oh man, I can't imagine placing that ad no matter how much I wanted some

Load up on good food and alcohol, rent a few movies, and you're ready to weather a big storm. :)

In Mississippi we just got four inches of rain (for real) in 24 hours. Now that storm is coming to DC folks in the form of snow. Get prepared and good luck!

Well I looked it up and every inch of ran equals 10 inches of snow so if they get hit with the same amount it would be about 40" of snow.
