So guys I'm just coming from the bar. Can't bind the drunk thread, so I'm posting here. Wow, it's messy out there for sure. Me and my buddy tried to push a few cabs and it was nothing happening. I've never seen it like this in D.C.

Anyway, who's packing heat tomorrow?

Here's what it looked like out here (60 miles west of DC, near Skyline Drive) at about 7pm. This is a 2 lane road roughly equivalent to the Fairfax Co Pkwy. My advice is to stay home if at all possible. If you do go out, be prepared and don't be an idiot behind the wheel.

Definitely scary conditions. Wonder if they closed Rock Creek Park.

.. Just heard on TV they closed I-66, for you guys that live in VA.

The last snowball fight in DC, some cop showed up and started waving a gun around.

There's a big one going on at Dupont Circle tomorrow. The group for it on facebook has around 3,000 people saying they're going. (so they claim)

From what I saw on the news this morning it looked like DC got around 12 inches but I heard parts of MD got 30". What do you guys see? It just started snowing in my area and they are calling for 1 to 4 inches.

I'm right on the DC - MD line and there is way more than a foot on the ground, and it's not supposed to stop for another 5 hours or so.

I can't believe the Georgetown - Villanova game is actually going to be played. Crazy. They must have had a hotel right across the street from the Verizon Center.

I live in NE DC and there's gotta be at least 2ft on the ground. I'm 5'2 and in some parts of the yard, the snow comes up about to my waist. So I'm thinking at least 2-2 1/2 ft.
