Really? So people into country music are the lowest base of society? Not sure where you have been but thats def. not true. I would say that most people who listen to country are the base of Society and this country. You left out that hip hop is also about gangs , violence and drugs.

and country is about getting too drunk (or do you guys call it jacked up now?), dogs, and tractors.. really who I want basing my society

base of the society lol

What's that old joke? What do you get when you play country music backwards? You get your job back, you get your wife back, you get your home back, you sober up

I actually like some country music (Sara Evans! Hellooo nurse)...and I agree it really speaks to patriotism and reflects the foundation of our society. Especially songs like "Tequila makes her clothes fall off" "Naked women and beer" "Takes a whole lotta liquor to love her"

Animaniacs FTW!

I wonder if they'll include the fact that Woodrow Wilson sent US troops into Russia to help the Whites defeat the Reds?

Perhaps they'll include the fact that when Columbus Discovered America millions of people were already here?

What form of government do the new school books say the US has: A Democracy, Oligarchy, or perhaps a multi-cultural Socialist utopia?

Are the new books going to be in English or Spanglish? Maybe they can write the new books in Mayan, so everyone will know when the world is going to end?

Adding to that: Where in ANY textbook, have you seen any documentation of the American Holocaust? Specifically the obliteration of the Native American Indian? The "christian" settlers had no problem murdering, raping and pillaging an entire race of people in the name of "god" ...or heck, maybe it was just a land grab..Either way, you won't find it in any text book.
Also, just for goofs, Paul Revere never rode yelling "The british are coming". That is just one of THOUSANDS of historical fabrications and myths. Its good drama lacking any basis in fact.

True, but the Indians weren't exactly the saints who were one with nature that Hollywood paints them as either.

umm . .. . jefferson is literally the poster boy for the federalist society. his bust is the federalist's society's insignia.

im not going to get into it, i had enough time arguing politics in law school, but the federalist stand for local government and limited federal/nat'l gov't. justice scalia is a federalist.

Hmm . . . I thought that was the complete other way around. I thought Hamilton was a Federalist and Jefferson was an anti-federalist. From what I've studied they all wanted a central / republic form of government but argued about the powers that it should have.

I assumed that the Texans want Jefferson out because they're RINOs. Limited government stands against what the Roosevelt wing of the party wants for the US.
