Bumping an old thread, but I'm trying to improve my scotch/whiskey/bourbon (primarily scotch) stock.
So...what should I always have stocked in my bar...and how should I drink it?
Single Malt, at least 15 years old.....Neat..
Save the 30 YO for select friends.....

Lagavulin is a classy choice for a home bar ... although my favorite has always been Laphroaig. It's the IPA of malts.
