ESPN is really wearing the world cup out already. someone should tell them us Americans don't give a rats ass about soccer

Besides South Africa the US sold the most tickets to the world cup so there is a nice fan base there. We care more about other sports be we don't hate soccer.

i am a big soccer fan, and super pumped the world cup is finally here! anyone found a good place that is streaming the games online?

edit: answering my own question. cbs sports has a good stream. if anyone cares.

I graduated from high school with Oguchi Onyewu so I always have to pull for the man! He was this tall skinny kid in high school but now he is a freaking beast. Glad to hear he's healthy now he just needs to kick the crap out of the Brits.

Watch Live Streaming Sports Online - ESPN3 (http://www.espn3.com) if you are on Comcast...

ESPN3.com will also give you multiple language feeds, closed captioning, ability to go directly to key plays, picture in picture, fantasy sports, and chat...among other things. Just sayin'

And you don't need to have just Comcast

im at work so i am on the company's provider. whatver that is.

the cbs sports ends up taking you to the univision site. the commentary is in spanish, which is fine. makes me feel bad about all the spanish i have already forgotten since college.

south africa did a fine job in that draw. they played better than i would have expected.

I can't enable SAP on my comcast cable box...is ESPN supporting SAP?

That's what we have here at work (Comcast Business), so that's why I mentioned it. However, for most of the match, I had no sound. If I wanted to hear commentary, I had to refresh the browser.

Nice opening match, 1-1 draw. Give South Africa a bit of life and pressure Mexico into putting on better matches going forward.

On the linear network? We don't have Spanish language rights. We have Portuguese language rights on ESPN Deportes, and English, Arabic, Portuguese, Korean, and German on ESPN3.com
