Well..... he's basically correct. I can't figure out the whole "18 and garnishing of wages" thing unless he's talking about college?
I had a discussion with my brother this weekend about how it's funny to hear 20 y/o's talking about working their butts off so they can retire at 40. lol. My fist thought was.... yeah nice thought, wait till they have kids, then it's all the school supplies, then it's a car, the insurance for the car, college, and god knows probably after college they will need cash here and there cause the market is not booming. My thought was, talk retirement all you want but you aint retiring. there will be too many bills later to retire.
EDIT: and I didn't even mention if they have girls they have to pay for the wedding. lol. I'm so glad I have boys. lol.

Wait until they get their first big pay check and find that uncle sam feels he knows how to spend their money better and takes 1/3 of their check. Then all that feel ggod stuff they thought was so great does not seem so great anymore to about 1/2 of them. Then they find out when they retire that uncle sam wants to tax their income that they have already paid taxes on once before. Or that their SS that was going to help them retire was spent on sgl. mothers with 5 kids from five different dads and is now running out.
KLHJ2 07-07-2010, 05:25 PM My advice is F**k her. When you get done F***ing her, then F**k her again. Wash rinse repeat. You F**k her as many times as you possibly can before she leaves. If you don't you will regret it for the rest of your life. Screw all the rules about not wanting to get too attached or whatever. You are already losing her, why punish yourself even more? You ride that chick like the ride that is getting shut down at the amusement park.
When she is gone, then you move on. Until then you should be unloading white ink all over her splat tat. I don't care if she is seeing somebody else because unless he is going with her it is not serious and you were there first.
12thMan 07-07-2010, 05:26 PM Okay, I'm just catching up on all the posts. This is interesting.
Thanks for all the input guys, this is good stuff. GMScud, I love the Hess reference!
So we're texting back and forth last night about mutual contacts that may help her with this event today, and I'm thinking nothing has changed. This morning we're on the phone talking like business as usual. Following the convo, I told her that the 2 per week thing was fools gold and I was really deceiving myself and leaving myself open to heartbreak. I told her I want a solid month or two off and zero communications. She was kicking and screaming bloody murder, rightfully accused me of changing my mind and that had she known I was going to take this much time off she would have never had sex with me. Ouch! She goes on to say she didn't want to do this over the phone, but in person. Okay, fine.
She's being totally manipulative in my opinion.
So I was meeting a few folks in the Dupont area to watch the second half of the World Cup and she met me there, but was avoiding the conversation the entire time. When the place cleared out we sat down and talked it through. Well I was doing all the talking. Basically I repeated the same thing, it's silly for me to pretend I don't have feelings yet still talk twice per week. Long story short, she's not fine with how things went down.
Get this, she was thinking about inviting me to a wedding out of town in a couple of weeks. Yeah, head scratcher but that's who I'm dealing with.
Someone asked the ages of the two ladies. This one is 32 going on 33 (very cute) and my former girl is 46. So there's a big gap. I'm almost exactly between the two of them.
12thMan 07-07-2010, 05:37 PM Her reason for wanting to maintain normal contact is that she considers this a special and unique friendship. I deflected to one of our mutual female friends and she said that I know her better and I'm always the first person she calls. She acknowledged that this is selfish on her part, but she's standing firm that this isn't fair.
Basically this all sounds like the dick in the glass routine by Chris Rock. Except I went from friend to lover and now back to friend.
Anyway, that's where things are for now. We're not going to speak unless we run into each other or it's a life changing decision she's making. We'll see.
To be continued...

Except this is one of the first chicks that I've met that thinks like a guy. I do feel much better about completely shutting it down.
firstdown 07-07-2010, 05:45 PM I'm confused.

Join the club.
KLHJ2 07-07-2010, 05:51 PM Shutting it down? A woman wants to provide you with sex with no strings attached and you are shutting it down because you are "getting attached". You're right, she does think like a man and I cannnot believe that you are letting this golden opportunity pass you by.
You are ready to settle down and I can understand that, but since you already know that it isn't going to be with her why get bent out of shape?
