Naw, that ain't happening. I mean it could, but Don is the type to self-destruct. Would be totally of script for him to get murdered.

Pete had a bad ****ing day at the office. Old boy Layne Price knocked him around pretty good in the conference room while all the big wigs were watching. The young college girl at the driver's ed school dumped him for the much younger guy beau and to top it off, Don Draper repaired Pete's kitchen sink in front of his wife and the other invited guests. Yeah, I think Pete's about to have nervous breakdown.

The main reason I don't think Pete will commit suicide is because he's too full of himself and hate's to be embarrassed in front of his peers. Suicide would be the ultimate loser moment for him if he did that.

So Bett's new husband, Henry, is a GOP aid and in the midst of a political race. He could possibly be flying to D.C. or Betty, perhaps, and they die in the plane crash.

Very cool episode. Despite his overbearing personality, Pete's always held Don in the highest regard. On one hand, he's following in the steps of early Don ... Once Pete turned partner, he's been slowly settling in a new skin. On the other hand, he maintains a very naive perception of Don ("I'm not as virtuous as you, so you leave me in the wind?"). It's one part professional adoration, one part yearning father figure.

Loved the Cosgrove voiceover to end the episode. The brilliant prose not only showcased the character's talent, but also punctuated Pete's emptiness in a creative way.
