Grossman and Torain looked good. I'm little confused how Portis impresses, yet another chance for big play and he trips over his blockers. Hope he doesn't start, with better oline his blocking won't be as important.

I agree Portis had TD if he never fell to the ground. The two young rbs really impressed me & hopefully they both make the team.

Trent Williams...not that I wasn't expecting him to dominate, but it was great to see.

Perry Riley

Brandon Banks

Keiland Williams

Ryan Torain

Lendy Holmes

Justin Tryon

Josh Bidwell...great average, 3 punts inside 20.

Rex Grossman! I'm beginning to think that his inconsistency in Chicago was systematic problems, or he's just not fit for the offense they ran. He just looks so comfortable and efficient in Kyle's offense, much like Todd Collins in our previous offense.

I really hope they decide to keep 2 QB's & 4 RB's (Portis, LJ, Torain & Williams)

I realize scrubs are scrubs, but you would think they could give a better effort than allowing the 8 yards per carry. I know they are probably goners, but it would be nice to have some quality depth and have Shanny and the coaching staff have to really make tough decisions about who makes it. THe Ravens game will give us more of a gauge as to where we are. The Bills were just downright awful and we seemed to be at the top of our game already, but I suspect a lot of it was the Bills just plain suck.

I agree 100% about the Ravens game being a true test for our club.

I liked what Portis showed because other than the run on 2nd and goal where the line got zero push/combined with Portis cutting to the wrong spot, he was hitting the gaps in the d-line as soon as they were formed and was regularly getting 4-6 yards a pop. On top of that he looked open on every pass route he ran with the exception of one. He just looked faster on his feet to me and he's going to need it cuz torain and williams looked really good at times and we still haven't seen LJ who has had a very strong offseason.

I dont know, I was hoping for a little more from Portis...he seemed like the same ole Portis to me. I'd like to see a second gear coming out of the hole, he just doesnt have that anymore. Im with you on LJ, I really want to see what he has and believe LJ can move up the depth chart if he cant run with more explosiveness through the middle. I think LJ is better than Portis with breaking tackles too. I believe both will see alot of pt through the season, but if what we saw from Portis Friday night is what we are going to get, than I rather have LJ running the ball the majority of the time.

Im in wait and see mode right now between the two since of course we have just started the preseason games, but I want to see more out of our running backs

Nick Sundberg=After all his bad snaps during practice,I thought he did well during the game, but I understand signing the Jets LS as well

Trent Williams=Thought he did very well against maybin. Specially since it's been a long time since he's played any football. Wasn't perfect, but I liked what I saw from "Silverback"

Donovan McNabb=Wasn't Great and even had a dirt ball, but he didn't do anything stupid. Leadership and Confidence were very visible to me in his 1st preseason game. He will only get better,as he gets even more comfortable.

Brandon Banks=How can you not root for this 5'7" little guy? lol...This guy seems very special to me already and I hope he makes the team. Oh..how we have been missing a return game for so..so long. I want to see him at WR or at least on WR screens too.

Chris Cooley=Is this guy money or what? Love Fred Davis, but Cooley will be a big reason this season why McNabb stays comfortable back there. I guess you can say Cooley will be McNabb's "Westbrook". Hitting Cooley when there are no others options.

There are more, but I'll go with these 5...

I hope you are right. He did look very comfortable.

I am going to wait to see how Rexy does against Ravens.
His two passes that should been intercepted, in the arms of the Bills DB and the DB's just dropped it. They were easy pick offs and one would have been a pick 6. Even the TD pass to Fred Davis was a risky ugly floater. If the Db covering on that play been a good DB, it would have been an easy pick.

He is great when he fires it in, it is those soft lazy passes that he sometimes makes scare me. His biggest criticism coming in was his arm strength. Not sure it is the strength as much as his inconsistency in the velocity of the ball going to receiver.

I agree with that 100%. I think if Torain and K Williams keep showing up like that in the next couple preseason games they almost have to keep them. I mean why in the world would we need a third QB if our back up QB's first name is Sexy? The rest takes care of itself....
