Just as frustrated with Gano as everyone else, but his directional kickoffs are a huge benefit to the team, and if he can get just a bit better at FG's we should keep him on.

Dude is horrible. If you can't count on him to make a FG under 40 yds, what good is he?

OK, I defended him before...no more.

Time to go Gano, take Sunberg with you.

Shanny, get Jason Elam on the phone. Bruce, get Martin Gramatica on yours. Let the geezers battle it out.

ANYBODY GET ALBRIGHT ON THE PHONE!!!!

so every other available kicker makes every kick under 40? Were his kicks yesterday awful, yes. Are his kickoffs important to our special teams, yes. Can we bring competition in this off-season Absolutely.

I was kinda hoping they would go for two, not because I thought they would F up the PAT but just because MS has rolled the dice in the past in Denver in situations like that, and really what did we have to lose?

It would've been nice, especially with the Bucs beating us on a 2 point conversion (when Mike Alstott didn't get in) about 5 years ago, and it def. would've felt like a little payback, but it didn't happen. The only way this game would've felt worse was if it was week 17 and a "win and we're in, or lose and we're out" situation.

Gano has the most missed field goals in the NFL...I don't know how it can get worse than that. Throw him in the pit of fire!

They may not, but the make a higher PERCENTAGE of kicks than Gano. BTW, some of them do indeed hit all of their kicks from within forty. Not only that, the dude was cutting it close to missing on damn extra points.

That would qualify as worse.

The biggest problem is you don't get to kick off and bury a team deep if you keep missing FGs. We're giving about half that value back in missed field goals vs. the opportunities we've had.
