Now here's the question...

Is this due to abuse, teasing and getting exposed as gay...or is it because homosexuality is actually a mental disorder with inherent emotional issues?

Maybe they are killing themselves because the people they love the most, their family, is not accepting them for who they are. Just saying.

I have learned to like you Buster outside of the political form, which I don't venture too, but you are clearly a homophobic. Why are you afraid them? They won't attack you. You don't have to watch their sexual act. So why does it bother you so much?

I am seriously asking I understand homosexuals better then I do homophobic people. Enlighten all of us on your fear of them...

So now it's a mental disorder?

Well lets see if we go into the reasoning of homophobic Buster; He originally said homosexuality is a choice but now says it is a mental disorder.

So using Homophobic Buster's reasoning:

All Homosexuals have chosen to have a mental disorder.

Makes perfect sense! Thank you Homophobic Buster.

Correct, it IS one of those, could be a mix of both. One causing the other. :food-smil

Also, not "afraid" of them...just quite sick of their in-your-face tactics to get noticed, special rights and sympathy.

Also, if they're engaging in their affection in public, political correctness says we dare not tell them to stop...that would be "hate speech" and "discrimination".

They get away with FAR MORE than heterosexual, NORMAL people.

When was the last time you saw a Straight Pride parade? Or a straight "club"? The more they push, the less accepted they become.

Back to the topic....this woman KNOWS it's a controversial issue, ESPECIALLY with a young child involved, yet she knowingly disparaged her son online and started this whole mess, that will likely follow him for the rest of his life. One day in college, a fellow schoolmate from this class will run into him...and if they're not good friends, there's a good chance he'll be known as Daphne around campus. Thanks, Mom.

Wait, so homosexuality is a mental disorder people choose to have? Is that right?

Pretty much every parade is for "straight" people and the majority of clubs are for "straight".

Do you use this same reasoning when discussing blacks and whites? Seems it.

You should move to DC and see what it is like to live in multicultural environment, you might be surprised and learn something.

Political Correctness is a mental disorder for sure.

Love this place. Liberals can say the most idiotic things in the world and never get called for it...yet someone Conservative gets every word of every post dissected and threads are derailed to tear down the poster, right FD?

It's a football site, not a Presidential Debate. :cheeky-sm

Apparently, with the new technology of 2010 you can now choose what disorders that they have.

:pffff:

Yep, I have my "Straight Flag" sticker on my car for the Straight Parade every year.

Now I'm racist. The tolerant left strikes again! :goodjob:

You CAN choose to act on urges.

It's a choice to take it up the butt. Definitely.

But, could those urges be the result of a mis-wired brain or psychological issue? Of course.

We call alcoholism a disease now. Yet, even with a chemical dependency present, it's the same lack of personal responsibility that pours the beer in their mouth and a choice is made every time to drive to that next bar.

Sorry for actually thinking things through instead of singing the same "awwww, they're different so we just have to hold hands and accept them" song you do. So they're minorities...that means we have to overlook all of the health risks and social decay they're causing? That mindset got us the current President. Acceptance of the bad just to avoid being called a racist, bigot or HOMOPHOBE.

I've known gay people. I've worked and lived fine with them as long as they keep their sex to themselves JUST LIKE I DO...as a normal, considerate person. No one normal wants to hear about someone else's sexual preferences.

Go ahead, keep calling people who don't see your things names. It won't prove you right or help your cause at all. Last Tuesday proved that. :food-smil
