Well I think you are doing a disservice to Andy Reid and company because they have a lot to do with what Vick is today. If Vick came here with Zorn or MS he probaly be where DM5 is right now.

This team is just an epic fail at this point.

I don't even defend them anymore I am just like yea that suck to other NFL fans, so f--king sad.

Vick would not have cost two draft picks. And maybe his scrambling ability would have been useful with our terrible o-line.

If I knew that MS was going to waste a 2nd and a 3rd on DM, then maybe we should've drafted Bradford instead of giving Philly those picks.

Personally, I would have rather seen some less expensive mediocre QB (JC, Rex) at the helm, drafted a quality player with the 2nd, and have an almost full compliment of draft picks for 2011.

For like the billionth time Bradford was never an option, we don't have anything the Rams would have want more then Bradford sans a decade of 1st round picks.

A 1st and a 2nd in 2010, and a 3rd in 2011? I think they would have traded. By the way, I was not one for Bradford, it's just that I feel that the 2nd and 3rd given up for McNabb have been an utter waste.

Skins were definitely interested in Bradford, they and the Rams were the only teams that had him in for workouts. You have to conclude that the Rams simply weren't interested in trading down, and after passing on several other top young QBs in recent years you can't blame them.

People's subjective valuations can be much higher than the supposed "market value". If the Rams FO rated Bradford as the next great one to join the class of Montana, etc, 3 1st rounders may have been needed.

I remember back to asking the question,"Why trade for McNabb if you know you are rebuilding?" And I guess this answers the question in the sense that Shanny agrees with me in that it was the wrong move if we are truly "rebuilding." I will agree that this is probably just the Shannies admitting it was a mistake and moving on. I doubt McNabb plays another down for the Redskins, but it is better to admit it was a mistake and move on rather than the alternative.

Good luck to McNabb and I do hope wherever he goes that he finds success as long as it isn't against the Redskins. I do feel he deserved to be treated better than this but this is just part of the business that is the NFL.

i agree with everything but the last line. i would say we are one of the few teams that can do this to a future hof-er. the gross mismanagment of this teams personel has got to be the worst in the nfl. and i'm not talking about this year alone, hands down we have to have one of the worst track records in the past decade in player turnover.

smootsmack eluded to it earlier, mcnabb is injured and most likely shanahan is done with mcnabb and wants to move on. if the two parties had any respect for each other this would have been handled very differently, but hey thats just my opinion

The only way i can get on board with McNabbs benching is if Shanahan applies the same rule accross the board -
1) Rabach's been ineffective. time for him to go.
2) If the offense doesnt explode under Grossman, then kyle shanahan must be fired for innefectiveness. zorn could come back as offensive coordinator. he'd represent an immediate upgrade over kyle.
3) Haslett and and the entire defensive coaching staff.

Who knows with the coaches but it's pretty obvious that a lot of these players are going to be gone, hopefully including Rabach which we are all looking forward to.
