he is 5th, i think, in passing yards right now. he isn't playing great but a lot of this has to do with play calling. it's not the fact that this may or maynot be a bad call it's the fact that it is now obvious that there is no plan in place for the future of this team. and thats the scary part.

i agree with not having a plan but i guess all the low passes just get to me when the reciever is wide open and afterward he just points at his self like my fault it gets old

it does get old when he misses an open receiver but there is 11 years of film on him doing that, and there is also 11 years of film of him tearing teams apart with average receivers. he has not had a stellar year but considering everything it really hasn't been that bad.

this is just hard to take as a fan, this team just cannot get out of it's own way...

Good riddance McNabb. Really appreciate all 5 wins this year. Too bad it's not 5 years ago when you were a decent QB.

I don't like this move.

But.

If this is a lost season, and obviously it is. We might as well see what everyone brings to the table in live games. That said, Rabach ought not start either.

I am a Skins fan, but they sure make it hard to be.

I think this pretty much cements the fact that Shanahan's regime has been a big disappointment thus far.

While I'd be stunned if The Danny axed him after just one year, it's safe to say MS hasn't really given us anything other than his big name.

Is it me, or does this season feel even worse than last year? I mean, last year it didn't take long for things to unravel into a comical circus that we all knew would end, and that at least gave us some promise for sweeping changes in 2010.

Now those changes have been instituted in what was the biggest organizational change since Danny bought the team, and the result? Well... Shanahan is going to need more than one year, but I'm not optimistic anymore.

i have felt right on with 90% of your post this season. this year to me has been worse. i didn't expect to win 10 games or anything, i just expected to look somewhat competitive and have a god damn plan of action in place. i could have made better moves with this team this year...

I could see Shanny putting John Beck in so we can see what the guy is capeable of, but theres already more than enough film out there on grossman. Also, if we're moving on from McNabb next year, then why the heck would we bench him? all it does is destroy his trade value. we will not get a THING for mcnabb now. we really did just piss a 2nd and 3rd rounder away. Speaking of film, with all the film out there on McNabb, if shanahan didnt like him, why did we even trade for him. McNabb has been exactly what we all expected he would be here. whats shananan so upset about?

This team has become even more of a joke under shanahan. Atleast Zorn had inexperience as an excuse. At this point, if you asked me to choose between firing Shanahan and cutting McNabb, i'd rather fire shanahan.

My one hope is that at the next game, the fans will be chanting for Cowher.

McNabb has played like hell all year long. Like Shit most of the time. If Shanahan really is trying to change the team, then we have to accept that McNabb would eventually be benched due to his poor play this season. Shanahan needs to put the best product on the field.

Leaving McNabb in no matter how bad he played would be something the previous regime would do. Look at all those years Campbell stunk it up and nobody ever considered if a QB switch would do anything.

Lets give this move a chance before preaching doom and gloom....

Between the week 8 benching in Detroit, the piss poor clock management, the Haynesworth ordeal, and now this, I'd say they already look like idiots. And according to Kelli Johnson, MS has lost the locker room.

Sweet. Our latest "savior" only took 13 weeks to lose the team.

I'm beside myself right now. This is just the cherry on top of a blunder-filled season.

Well as for the "losing" the locker room...I don't really care because I would like to "lose" about half of that locker room. I am still behind Shanny and him and Allen will be here longer then most of the players currently on the team.

sounds like something that happened last offseason when they got mcnabb before getting rid of campbell, effectivly takin away any value jc might have actually had. ugghh...
