Chico23231 03-31-2011, 07:28 AM ^ they said all 32 coaches were there thats great news, someone might be able to take this guy before we make the mistake IrMitchell 03-31-2011, 07:48 AM ^ they said all 32 coaches were there I could be wrong, but didn't they say on Path to the Draft that only Pete Carroll was there for Seattle? That's what I heard at least. MTK 03-31-2011, 08:43 AM I could be wrong, but didn't they say on Path to the Draft that only Pete Carroll was there for Seattle? That's what I heard at least. Yeah I heard that too, he was the only HC there, they didn't mention front office types that might have been there instead. SmootSmack 03-31-2011, 09:04 AM It was mostly regional scouts that were there, which is usually the case anyway MTK 03-31-2011, 09:49 AM Reading tea leaves at Jake Locker's pro day - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/38970/reading-tea-leaves-at-jake-lockers-pro-day) GridIron26 03-31-2011, 11:48 AM Interesting article, Matty.. The more I read about Locker, the more I hope we draft him somehow, without sacrificing anything.. Chico23231 03-31-2011, 12:17 PM Interesting article, Matty.. The more I read about Locker, the more I hope we draft him somehow, without sacrificing anything.. us giving up draft picks to jump up and get any quarterback would be sickening with our extremely long, long list of needs. The days of us giving up draft picks needs to end. huge fail SmootSmack 03-31-2011, 01:03 PM us giving up draft picks to jump up and get any quarterback would be sickening with our extremely long, long list of needs. The days of us giving up draft picks needs to end. huge fail But that rule of not giving up draft picks doesn't apply to Kevin Kolb? Chico23231 03-31-2011, 01:29 PM But that rule of not giving up draft picks doesn't apply to Kevin Kolb? no it does, i wouldnt give a pick for him unless were in fantasy land where a 4th or 5th lands him. yeah i chose kolb just based on best fit/best passer combo for our team. i didnt take that into consideration. I think if you look at QBs coming out next year you see better options. All I see are big time question marks this year, but hey thats my opinion. Lets say Locker falls to us in the second, sure take him if the Shannys are in love with this guy. But the constant circle of draft to picks to move up or to trade for vets is a stratgdy that has failed for us 75% of the time. Bruce and Shanny did a nice job trimming fat last year and this year in salary, lets continue to do that and at the same time not toss draft picks. The holes are plenty now, lets bring in some young talent with every possibility and look for ways to move back to gain picks. |
