i loosely follow the orioles. they are my favorite baseball team, but that's not saying much. i like baseball slightly more than hockey and slightly less than basketball.

As a Nats fan under 40, I'm curious to know why. I've been following the Nats since they moved back to DC. I followed the Orioles prior to that, but never got into them too much since they are Baltimore's team.

No they weren't? They're Baltimore's home team, I can claim that they were the team I followed most closely due to geographical location but that never means I claimed them as my team.
