My final one:
1.) Robert Griffin III Quarterback, Baylor
3.) Dwight Bentley Cornerback, UL-Layfette
4.) Robert Turbin Runningback, Utah State
4.) Donald Stephenson Tackle, Oklahoma
5.) Phillip Thomas Safety, Syracuse
6.) Vontaze Burfict Linebacker, Arizona State
7.) Cliff Harris Cornerback, Oregon
I would be satisfied with this.
Oh no, there's that Burfict guy again! And Cliff Harris, to boot! Do they come complete with personal psychologists and baby sitters?
Seriously, I think that would be a good draft for the Skins. I would like to see one more OL, though.
Burfict and Harris are the the right type of players to take late because they have big upside. With the Skins, they would ave great role models and advisors like London Fletcher and Phillip Daniels to help them along if they are determined to succeed.

I don't understand how anyone would want to waste a draft pick on Burfict.

i see what your saying but they obviously dont think its wasting it, and are confident that they can help him mature and be the player he has the ability to be.

I know Shanahan has done a lot of good things with the Redskins, but I still doubt his ability to take a problematic player and help him mature.

i dont doubt his ability to do that, i think he could do it with the help of others and some of the leaders on the team. I do doubt however shanahan even taking the chance on a guy to even attempt to do it.

I would love for this to happen.
Having said that, every year we draft theres always a good handful of guys that we pick who aren't needed/heard of/good. I wish we went with the big names like you have here in your mock, but reality is we're going to pick a good amount of guys that we haven't even talked about or have mentioned maybe once.
Like I said Steve Wyche was reporting from Redskins camp and said to expect us to go OL with our early picks and get a TE, and if Vontaze is there late we may get him. I saw that 7 round mock on nfl.com that has us getting Aaron Corp in the 6th round. Why? he isn't needed, especially when we can get a QB undrafted or an experienced one in FA. RB is not that big of a need IMO as a DB, OL, or Slot WR is. Same can be said for a TE, no need. We got Paulsen a solid TE undrafted a few years ago, do the same thing again redskins, don't waste picks on RB, backup QB, TE, OLB, K, P. LaMichael is my only exception to the RB we could take.

Some folks will never "get it," no matter who the coach is. I'm with you in thinking that Burfict is one of those guys.
