Do you have that the wrong way around? Schaub was drafted 2nd round, and was traded for 2 2nd rounders. Kolb was drafted 2nd round and was traded for a bounty that included a 2nd rounder if I'm not mistaken. Shit even AJ Feeley was traded for a 2nd rounder.

All Cousins has to do is ride the bench for a few years, and play good in limited action, including a couple regular season starts, and someone might start believing the hype. That's how it happens.i thought schaub was drafted in the 3rd round

You're right, that's my bad. Either way, Schaub was traded for 2 2nd rounders, so that's definitely a return on investment for the Falcons.

I think the point is, in a qb driven league, At the worst we got a guy who can compete and give us some type of backup for RGIII. And at best, a team needs their qb of the future, and none are in the draft, and Cousins looks awful good in the starts he gets.

Flynn will net the Packers a third round compensatory pick.

Well the bigger the contract that a free agent gets when he leaves your team the higher the draft pick. No higher than a third round pick. I am speculating that they get a third round draft choice. Also, a team must lose more free agents then they gain.
