Give me Robinson and Briscoe at the bottom of our WR corp.. Banks is fast, no doubt but his effectiveness is surely stunted by the new kickoff rules and there's no way he's able to be an NFL WR. I think Briscoe is key because he's got the size and hands to backup Hankerson at the 'big' WR spot.

We could use Briscoe's size for sure.

How about our whatever and goal package as Davis, Paul (or Cooley), Briscoe, Hankerson, and Morris. Seems like it could do some damage.

Will Rex make the 53? - Rich Tandler's Real Redskins (http://www.realredskins.com/rich-tandlers-real-redsk/2012/08/will-rex-make-the-53.html)

I think RG3 version 1.0 should be cut, I just can't see it happening. Apparently I am not alone.

I really thought Cousins, despite being a rookie and throwing a pick, looked dramatically better than Grossman against the Bills. He did get into the game in the 2nd quarter, so it was still a decent Buffalo D on the field.

Grossman just looked like utter garbage. The "veteran leader" QB should not come into the game and complete 20% of his passes. Most of his throws were nowhere near the receivers. The only thing missing was a sack-fumble.

No matter who comes in if RGIII is injured, it's going to be a huge drop-off. For the sake of our future, we should get Cousins some experience. We know what Rex can do...turn the ball over.

Crompton is a more than competent 3rd-string QB.

unfortunately, with cousins throwing like 3-4 picks a day in practice, the idea of ditching rex isn't going to get very far. I'd like to as well, but cousins hasn't played well enough to make that happen. we've definitely got an extra RB or LB (or gomes) that could use that spot though.

Yea, we thoughts cousins was a luxury pick we didn't really have. I guess MS and BA really took the gamble that they could turn him into a valuable trade option. Time will tell.

Rex has looked solid enough in practice, he's not going anywhere. Hell I wouldn't even play him during the preseason. Get RG3 and Cousins all the snaps they can get.

Any word on Jonathan Crompton? Will he see action this preseason or have the coaches already slated him for the practice squad yet again?

Yeah, the latest word out of redskins park is he's going to be cut, because he's a fourth string QB!

Which in turn means that he will go right back to the practice squad if he clears waivers once he's cut. But they should give this young man a chance to show what he can do. Maybe they are waiting until Rex retires to bump Crompton up to 3rd string.
