This was a well played game against a good team at home. This is what teams that are on the right track are supposed to look like. The Vikings are going to win eight plus games this season. In this one, Ponder was just a little bit off all day with his accuracy. Matt Ryan had the same issue last week as well.

Biggest difference was that we didn't leave Ponder in the game for four quarters like we did with Ryan last week. Both showed some late game ability to put it all together, but yesterday, it didn't matter.

The defense is playing adequately, given it's talent level. You can't start a bunch of guys like Rob Jackson, Madieu Williams, Reed Doughty, and Jarvis Jenkins and expect to have great results, but these results are more than acceptable as long as there are no stinker performances like the 2010 Eagles game. We can live with what the D is giving us right now. The special teams and the offense has to come to play like they did yesterday, but every week. They can't collapse and go back to how they were against TB and ATL.

A little disappointed in Jenkins. Perhaps he's still not 100% from his knee injury.

This may be nothing but did anyone else notice Kirk Cousins negative body language during the game? I mean, he was expressionless and motionless as RG3 ran past him on the game-clinching 76-Yd TD run. Cousins didn't even turn his head to watch RG3 score. I'm wondering if Cousins might be developing an attitude problem.

I saw that on the 76 yard run...he was like a statue on the sideline...I just laughed though.

He has a professional, Todd Collins-like demeanor. The thought ran through my mind "he knows he's never getting the job for sure now" but I have no doubts that he's a team player.

I didn't notice anything negative about Cousins' behavior during the game. He was talking to RG3 and Kyle throughout. Think he's just kind of even keeled. Only thing that caught my eye was that he was throwing on the sidelines early in the game. Not really sure why

I saw Jenkins make a couple plays specifically on run defense yesterday where he would come off a stunt or the line blocked down or inside and funnel Adrian Peterson to the outside for an easy tackle.

Oh by the way, did anyone here AP's name yesterday????? Dude had a quiet 70 yards rushing. Defense still playing good against the run...

Yes they have been more than solid in the run game. But it's painfully obvious that we're really missing Orakpo.

If you have three legs you will be able to outrun the whole defense every time.

Alexander needs to be starting

He certainly made a strong case for that. At the least, he needs to be on the field a lot more going forward.

I don't know to be honest....to me it seemed like it wasn't a designed QB draw. But I haven't heard/read anything saying that it wasn't.

Robert Griffin III's 76-yard touchdown run, in his own words - Washington Times (http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/redskins-watch/2012/oct/14/robert-griffin-iiis-76-yard-touchdown-run-his-own-/)

"We kind of felt like they were going to pressure us in that situation. [Offensive coordinator] Kyle [Shanahan] called a good play.

"I saw the double A-gap blitz. I was thinking I’m either going to throw hot, or if they miss this blitz and don’t hit it the right way, then I’m going to run for the first. I saw that they missed it, took off running and got to the sideline; thought about running out of bounds because everyone has been telling me that lately. You know in certain situations, and I felt like I had the guy outflanked. I just took off running. The rest is history.
