U won't be now but u will be in a few years when Eli is done and griff is in his prime SBXVII 10-15-2012, 07:56 PM I'd say so because this redskins team has it's franchise QB now NTM if we win we are in first I was sure we were 1 game out with the Giants in the lead. We win only puts us tied with first. NFL Standings: Division (http://www.nfl.com/standings) Dirtbag59 10-15-2012, 08:25 PM Thanks SS, didn't realize ESPN had that detailed a breakdown: Look at Griffin's Redzone #'s Pretty dang good for a rook! OPP 19-GOAL complete:9 attempt:12 CMP %:75.0 TD:3 INT:0 Sack:3 Rating:118.4 Rushes:13 Yards: 58 Avg: 4.5 TD:5 The thing that scares me is that right now in the red zone he is a run first QB which is working out for us in terms of FINALLY hitting pay dirt in the red zone but it's one of those areas where he's going to get himself killed. He's an incredible rookie passer and is still on pace to be the best rookie QB in the history of the league and I think I'm expecting to much from him at this point but I'm really hoping to see him impose his will on defenses through the air rather then take what the defense gives him which he is doing an excellent job of right now. In short though it just goes to show you how hard it is to criticize this man. skinsfaninok 10-15-2012, 08:32 PM The thing that scares me is that right now in the red zone he is a run first QB which is working out for us in terms of FINALLY hitting pay dirt in the red zone but it's one of those areas where he's going to get himself killed. I'd like to see More pass first in the RZ too but he's so great it really doesn't matter 12thMan 10-15-2012, 08:37 PM RG3 just tweeted, "how'd you guys like the Landover Leap".... So that's about to catch on. Hahaha DynamiteRave 10-15-2012, 09:37 PM Dunno if anyone saw this but uhhh... One reason I'm not overly critical of the Defense. Yes, they give up too many points, but it seems every D is capable of getting torched. Look at the Niners and Texans. Ravens get lit up on the regular. A couple pieces next year and the D could be Championship caliber. Giants and Pats D weren't all that last year and neither were the Saints or Packers when they won it all. Won't take much if our Offense can continue to score at this clip. Dirtbag59 10-15-2012, 09:52 PM Honest question, who knew Fred Davis was our leading receiver? Certainly not me. skinsfaninok 10-15-2012, 10:07 PM Honest question, who knew Fred Davis was our leading receiver? Certainly not me. i did but because i'm a stat freak |
