No way. Not even close to a 2nd rounder at this point. Matt Flynn did more than Cousins and he couldn't fetch anything as far as a trade goes.but flynn was in the last year of his contract, cousins has 3 more (dirt cheap) years on his.

Cousins has won two games for us, I think his value has gone way up.
I'm not ready to shop him but I think he's worth a second rounder right now.
I disagree. No one is going to give up a #2 for a QB for whom there is so little tape. Captain Kirk needs more mileage before he can fetch a high pick.

Fixed.
You aren't going to get very much for Cousins at this point. It would have to be a case where RGIII was out several games and Cousins came in and played lights out.
Looks like I picked the week to give up peyote.....

I am just not seeing the need/rush to trade him for anything less than a mind blowing multi pick offer. I am talking H.Walker type offer. ... and before you start, I know no one would do so.
He is simply to valuable to us. A very good, dirt cheap back at the most important position on the field. We trade him, RGIII goes down and we turn to ... Rex? Can you say f'd up the A?
A starting safety (Reid) for someone who may be one of the top 2 or 3 No.2 QB's in the league? No thanks - not unless we are talking about the second coming of S.Taylor. Given the style of play of our starting QB, having someone like Cousins is a must.

Im not buying that Kirk cant fetch a 2nd. Lets not forget he went as a 4th round pick with the Skins with (((ZERO))) NFL tape. Kirk then came into a hot game, cold of the bench and lit it up! I think teams like the Jets (who have both a 1st and 2nd available) would be willing to give a 2nd for a QB that has obvious potential as a starter in the NFL over what they can grab in the draft. Unless they are willing to gamble with Sanchez...

He signed a 3 year deal right. Hold him for 2 1/2 years then look to trade him. You want to get rid of someone lets get rid of RG1 and pick up an undrafted QB to help develope.
Unless Andy Reid and the Chiefs offer an extremely high draft pick, but I can tell you they won't offer their #1 pick this year. I might bite if they offered a 2nd this year and a 3rd the year after. Again I doubt that happens.

Watch some of Reid's highlights, he reminds me of ST, to a lesser degree.

This post makes good sense. My post was hypothetically speaking, if we were to trade him. Cousins is excellent backup insurance and very inexpensive to keep at this point.

Rookies contracts are now 4 years. Cousins has 3 more years after this year left on his rookie contract (Same as RG3).
I agree on holding onto him for at least another year if not longer.

I say pick another QB for value if they are the highest player on the board. I like that strategy.
