When was the last time if ever we have had to good QB's that other teams would want to have on their team?

I've long been an advocate that we need two young QBs...so I'm not about this let's trade Kirk life

:laughing2

BHA he's rushed for 750 yards and been very effective. The option and his scramble ability has helped us win games. He is gonna take hits in the open field, its a fact. We need a developing QB who can be ready to take the field and deliever.

I'd keep Kirk around unless we get an offer too good to refuse. A Revis and 2nd would make me think but I don't think it'd get it done. I don't know if Cosuins is "worth" it but I think a Revis and 1st is enough for me...but I doubt anyone would pay that type of price.

This is awesome.. Kirk Cousins says ‘TEAM’ before calling every play (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/dc-sports-bog/wp/2012/12/18/kirk-cousins-says-team-before-calling-every-play/)

TEAM!!

Revis and a 2 might be worth it.

We run the option alot, but most of the time RGIII drops back to throw or hands off to Morris. Its rare that RGIII actually runs from the option as a designed play.

Generally, he drops back to throw and runs because protection breaks down before a receiver gets open. As i said, he takes hits in the open field instead of taking sacks, which is what would happen with someone like rex behind center. but he'd be taking the same number of big hits.

RGIIIs "style of play" is not more likely to get him injured than if he were a pure drop back passer. That was my point. Its the o-line thats responsible for RGIII taking hits. If they did their job well, RGIII wouldnt have to run and he could stay back and throw. He'd have something like 500 less running yards and 750-1000 more passing yards.

Regardless, until we can fix the o-line, we need Kirk Cousins. He's under contract 2 more years and i'd be shocked if he left before then unless we got a ridiculous offer.

So his value skyrockets because a guy with 19 post who actually looks to be a Giants fan mentioned him in a thread?

There are plenty of O-Linemen in the draft, I would be willing to see cousins go for the right trade, and it's more so because i believe he is a starter not a backup.
