I wish people would just get off the stupid "gotta blame somebody" bandwagon. What happened happened. Get over with. Nobody to blame. It's not going to magically heal Griffin's knee.
I normally agree 100%. I hate when people say you shouldn't' have called that play or you shouldn't have started him -- those are all hindsight is 20/20 type of things. I especially hate when someone says they didn't play hard enough just because a team lost.
But show me someone who said "Griffen gives them the best chance to win this game and should be in." I found one: Shanahan.

Ed Werder @Edwerderespn
Redskins have one of NFL's best coaches and world's greatest orthopedic surgeon on sideline and let 22-year-old kid decide whether he plays?

The players don't believe coach Mike Shanahan should have turned to rookie backup Kirk Cousins, even with Griffin struggling to move, plant his feet and complete passes.
"Not at all,'' Moss said. "Robert's our starting quarterback, if he can go at 60%, he's better than half the guys out there. He could barely run the last three weeks and he's still hard to catch.
Added receiver Pierre Garcon: "You have to live or die with your quarterback if he says he can play,'' receiver Pierre Garcon said. "If he feels he can help the team, we gave him the say so. You don't want to second guess your quarterback.''

Exactly. To me it's already over and done with. If RG3 can't start 2013 then Kirk Cousins will be the starter. Just an FYI... Cousins can play and he's already proven that he can play at a high level. I would expect him to play even better next year.

Totally agree.

A guy on the radio down here said that you dont ask players if they can still play. Its like asking your kids if they want to stay up late and watch tv. Players want to play, kids want to stay up late.
I dont really blame anyone, but if i had to point fingers i would go with Shanny. Injuries are gonna happen, thats just life, but RGIII should have been taken out because he was inaffective. I think RG should have come out by the start of the 4th. And in retrospect, KC gave us a better chance to win right after our second touchdown.
But that's the point, you don't have to point fingers. Unless you want to, of course, but you'll be in bad company. There's just no point to it...
Let's just hope for the best result, great medical care, and an amazing recovery. Suggs and Peterson are out there to give us hope that things can go quicker than conventional medical wisdom.

Has anyone made any statement on the " stability " of the knee ? I assume they did some manual movement " test " before he walked off the field ? Wishing the best , Mr. Griffen is a very impressive young man , so glad he is on our team !

You are right.
I dont blame Shanahan for Griffin's injury. But i do blame Shanahan for the loss.

Well it wouldnt be a problem if I cant blame Snyder for it. He shoulda never thought RG3 could stay in.

Only a Dallas fan would start a thread hoping that their rival QB would be out 14-18 months
